Celebrities tag-teamed against President George W. Bush during his eight years in the White House, leveling as much verbal abuse as possible against the Commander in Chief.
One rocker compared Bush to Hitler, another said we would all die if Bush had his way and a rapper blamed him for 9/11. We even saw a film like Death of a President, which imagined what would happen if someone assassinated Bush.
Oprah Winfrey must have been cut off from all sources of media during that span. Winfrey told the BBC that President Barack Obama is receiving an unusually high amount of “disrespect” due to his skin color.
There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.
Apparently, Winfrey hasn’t heard every other anchor at MSNBC saying precisely the same thing, or celebrities like Morgan Freeman parroting that line without proof.

Glenn Beck called Oprah Winfrey “the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people”
October 22, 2013Glenn Beck called Oprah Winfrey “the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people” in his lifetime on his radio show Monday, pointing out what he saw as a string of blatant hypocrisies.
It all began with reports that Winfrey declined an invitation from the White House to help President Barack Obama market his health care law to the American people.
“I like that,” Beck’s co-host Pat Gray said speciously. “She’s obviously opposed to the way this thing is being rolled out. She wants to help people; [she] sees that it’s hurting people. Good for her.”
But according to the New York Post, Beck said, Winfrey didn’t decline the invitation because of the ramifications of Obamacare, but because she feels like she hasn’t had enough access to the inner circle of the White House.
