Sunday night’s season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” was a ratings killer

March 31, 2014

Sunday night’s season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” was a ratings killer, drawing 15.7 million viewers.

That’s the highest-rated finale in the show’s four-season history.

The viewership included 10.2 million adults between ages 18 and 49, the most coveted audience in television.

“The Walking Dead” has had the largest 18-49 audience of any nonsports show on television this season, broadcast or cable.

Obama using Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall tactics to register Democrat voters

March 31, 2014

Covered California, the Golden State’s Obamacare subsidiary described as the “new, easy-to-use marketplace where you and your family may get financial assistance to make coverage more affordable,” is sending out voter registration cards premarked Democrat.

‘Ban Bossy’ campaign another Politically Correct bossy bombast

March 31, 2014

The left is at it again. The progressive crusaders have ventured out on another quest to make us all better, nicer, more sensitive and of course, more tolerant of one point of view.

Their latest campaign? Ban the word “bossy.” Michelle Obama, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, several evil capitalists and a handful of celebrities have had enough. The word bossy has got to go.

Why? Because girls need to be leaders.

This campaign is fraught with issues that are easy to see and point out. They are trying to boss people into not using the word bossy, which is an irony and hypocrisy that seems common place today. Banning the word bossy doesn’t make anyone a better leader or even less bossy, it just means that no one can be honest with you, and quite frankly, how good is a leader who is not surrounded by honest people?

Obama lies about topics of discussion with Pope Francis

March 31, 2014

On March 27, President Obama met with Pope Francis at the Vatican, but the topics of discussion remain in dispute. Whatever was talked about, it’s hard to imagine that the pontiff could win over Obama in areas where they disagree, such as religious liberty and human rights for the unborn.
In 2009, President Obama went to Rome to meet with now-Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, but it’s difficult to see where the conversation had much effect on many of his administration’s policies.
Flash forward to 2013, and the Obama administration was trying to force the Catholic Little Sisters of the Poor, who care for the elderly, to accept insurance that provides birth control.
Just to be clear, they’re nuns – Catholic nuns. To anyone with even a cursory knowledge of Church doctrine, that was obviously a non-starter for several reasons. Yet that reality didn’t seem to deter HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who was raised a Catholic (although the current state of her faith is unclear at best) and therefore should know better.
The contraception-mandate part of Obamacare – interpreted by American Catholic bishops as as a frontal assault on the First Amendment’s assurance of freedom of religion – is still matriculating through the Supreme Court. Yet Obama has been trying to woo Catholic support since his community-organizing days in Chicago. Luckily for him, some Catholics still reflexively vote for Democrats, largely based on social-justice concerns (and a lingering idolatry centered on John F. Kennedy).
However, Obama’s enthusiastic support of contraception and abortion-on-demand – including his passionate attack as an Illinois state senator on the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act (BAIPA) in that state, intended to mandate medical care for babies that survive late-term abortions – would seem to preclude support from any orthodox Catholic.

What could happen if you follow Obama’s “delays” and “wavers” in lieu of the law?

March 31, 2014

Despite being “the law of the land”, President Obama is telling a lot of people to ignore ObamaCare; but does that absolve you from following it? The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as ObamaCare, is now in full effect, or it is supposed to be. To avert certain political disaster for the Democratic Party, Obama has issued, as of March 5, 2014, 20 unilateral executive actions to “delay” ObamaCare mandates and taxes.

The President has the authority to pardon, but he cannot pre-pardon your crimes, just as a priest cannot pre-absolve your uncommitted sins; and just as a priest cannot change the list of sins, Obama cannot change the taxes you owe or the benefits you must provide. So what could happen if you follow Obama’s “delays” and “wavers” in lieu of the law?

Kylie Jenner showing off – Part ONE of THREE

March 31, 2014

She seems to have posted an inordinate amount of pictures of herself in various bikinis BEFORE going on holiday.

But Kylie Jenner’s collection is larger than anyone could imagine and she took the opportunity to show it off during the Kardashian clan holiday in Thailand.

And making sure she documented her swimwear properly, the 16-year-old was seen posing up for pictures on Phang-Nga Beach in Phuket.… to later post on Instagram.

Death Panels are built into Obamacare

March 30, 2014

There is more proof that the ObamaCare “death panels” are alive and well. The former head of the Democratic Party, who also happens to be a medical doctor, is sounding the alarm. In a Wall Street Journal opinion piece, Howard Dean calls out a “major problem” with the health care law, known as the Independent Payment Advisory Board. Sarah Palin, who warned against death panels in 2010, reacted on Tuesday night’s Hannity.

Sean Hannity broke down why this is important. First, a high-profile Democrat and one-time medical doctor is admitting that this board is a “health care rationing body.” Second, he pointed out that Dean is acknowledging that IPAB has the authority to “stop certain treatments.”

Diet drinks linked with heart disease and death

March 30, 2014

Older women who drink two or more diet drinks a day are more likely to suffer from heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes, a new study shows.

Postmenopausal women with a two-a-day soft drink habit were 50 per cent more likely to suffer from cardiovascular-related diseases, the Women’s Health Initiative Observational Study discovered.

They were also 30 per cent more likely to suffer heart attacks and strokes compared to those who consumed the drinks in moderation or not at all.

60,000 women with an average age of 62.8 were asked how many low-calorie fruit drinks and diet soft drinks they had drunk over a three-month period.

Based on the results, the women were then separated into groups – with those who drank two or more diet drinks marked as heavy consumers.

Almost a decade later, researchers asked the women whether they had experienced any heart-related problems, including heart attacks, blood clots and strokes.

‘Heavy consumers’ were found to have suffered the most health problems.

The research also took into account various factors like participants BMI, physical activity levels, and other lifestyle choices.

Lisa Vanderpump sexy in the city

March 30, 2014

Lisa Vanderpump may have looked covered up from the back – in a professional blazer and trousers.

But the 53-year-old reality star was much less modest from a frontal view, flashing her hot pink bra through a sheer black top as she left her restaurant, Villa Blanca, in Beverly Hills on Friday.

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star dressed up the ensemble with spiked black platform pumps, a large gold pendant, maroon nail polish, and an orangey brown purse.
