Epochal Transformation Accelerates
As Global Financial Matrix Disintegrates
Now that the genie is out of the bottle, worldwide economic, political and social events will proceed with the inexorable force of destiny. The forthcoming changes, shifts and breaks with the past that are delineated below do concern the unsavory business of WHAT, positively, will not be brought into the future. This is of critical importance. Why? Because those who do not know, and understand, and heed history, are always, always forced to repeat it.
I. As we all sat back and waited for this year’s October Surprise, please know that it came a little bit early this year on September 15th which will forever be known as PITCH BLACK MONDAY. Actually, the entire month of October was set up to be a series of Black Monday’s, as well as every other day of the week shaped up to be. It’s really a good time to brace your self since this year’s election cycle, and beyond, will bring with it a whole new season of surprises. Things like the beginning of the end of FIAT money – the real root cause of all our financial problems and economic ills. This foundational flaw, together with all of the multi-layered financial/economic/accounting mechanisms and schemes that have insidiously crept into the system, are the ‘not talked about’ institutionalized culprits and structural deformities that really need to go. Without them, the perps wouldn’t be so tempted to stack the deck against us all the time.
The only legitimate currency is that which is backed by GOLD, or some other precious commodity that is universally valued, and issued directly by the US Government, not a privately owned, organized crime syndicate like the FED. Debt driven, fractional-reserve banking – the real bane of global finance – will then be banished from the planet forever, along with the overlords of disaster capitalism, institutionalized usury & loan-sharking (e.g. World Bank & International Monetary Fund), as well as their economic hitmen. Finally, the central organizing principle of modern society, and especially Western Civilization, will no longer be: maximizing shareholders’ wealth.
The writing is on the wall: THE FED IS DEAD. And so is the Fed’s collection agency – the IRS. The FED has obviously been on extreme life support since September ’08, and the only compassionate response is to let it go peacefully into the sunset. Perhaps we should organize a simple taxpayers’ revolt, not too unlike those that occurred prior to the American Revolution, to bury this beast forever. When the people do wake up, and realize that the Federal Reserve Note that they carry in their pocket is exactly that – a note (i.e. debt, obligation, debit, commitment, instrument of indebtedness), things will start to get REEEEAL interesting !
II. Another little surprise will come in the form of an announcement that goes something like this: The USA was conceived to be a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a democracy by plutocracy. The founding fathers would be absolutely horrified to see the “mob rule by the privileged elites” into which this once great nation has degenerated. Every political philosopher knows that democracy, when sufficiently dumbed down and unduly influenced by the moneyed ruling class, will always devolve into a despotic tyranny. Therefore, the wholesale exportation of our fraudulent notion of democracy, and its supposed freedoms (to buy, buy, buy after watching the boob tube hucksters), by the political and corporate classes must be reconsidered. And it will be soon, on a new channel during this “Fall” season’s new lineup! Stay tuned —
III. Another announcement will be made, in the not too distant future, about the business entity commonly known as the CORPORATION – the main huckster of this ‘brand’ of faux democracy. Surely, if the devil were to ever choose the perfect form in which to enter in order to carry out his nefarious designs, Inc. is it. Is there any other entity on earth – person or party, organization or association, government or institution, jurisdiction or bureaucracy, club or group, fraternity or sorority, etc. that can function with such impunity, as it hides behind the shield of LIMITED LIABILITY. Those two words have given complete cover for the flagrant and wanton destruction of planet Earth.
You name it – oil slicked coastlines, razed rainforests, beaches strewn with dead dolphins and whales. Not to mention the complete erosion of human, civil and national rights, wherever INC decides to set up shop.
Let’s pick a country. Let’s go to India and visit Bhopal of Union Carbide fame. Close to 8000 people died within two weeks of that December day in 1984 in what is known as the worst industrial disaster of the last century. Now that Dow Chemical owns Union Carbide, you can only imagine the veritable phalanx of attorneys who are paid unconscionable fees to ensure proper responsibility and accountability will never be assumed by their master.
Or let’s visit the Punjab and talk to the thousands of widows of farmers who committed suicide because of Monsanto’s “seedless seeds”. Or go to just about anywhere on that subcontinent where a Walmart is being protested for land theft, encroachment and despoilation. Let’s not forget about all the Coca Cola bottling plants that have become notorious for stealing the most precious commodity that every Indian cherishes and covets – WATER. Well, that takes care of land, water, air … and blood. What else in heaven’s name do these stakeholders want?!
We all know the deal. It’s the one where the individual, and his/her environment, is always trampled in favor of the corporate interest. Isn’t it time to really take stock of what our current predicament has left us with. Perhaps it’s also time to seriously think about actually re-ordering the ORDER, instead of once again rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic. Like we’ve said, “optimizing stockholder profit” will soon be history, as the cease and desist orders are not far from being issued to Corporate America. Might as well get a head start on dissolving (or re-chartering) that corporation.
IV. Termination of Globalization: The dominating and predatory form, that is. No other global initiative has been more unsuccessful at creating a framework for a more efficient transfer of goods and services around the planet. Truly, every aspect of this corporate inspired policy has failed miserably. Wherever it promoters trumpet its stated intention to make markets more streamlined, effective and resilient, it has done quite the opposite.
One only needs to look at the current debacle within the European Union concerning the banking, credit, and stock market breakdowns. Never has a response from the appropriate governing bodies been more disorganized, full of mixed messages and working at cross purposes with the member states. It’s like watching The Three Stooges (France, Germany & Italy) play musical chairs blindfolded with no clothes on. What an unprecedented spectacle, and in plain view for the entire world to watch! This will undoubtedly put the brakes on the concretizing of a North American Union and their planned currency – the Amero. Praise the Lord!
As a matter of fact, all of the financial unions and economic superstates (e.g. European Union; Southeast Asian Association for Regional Cooperation; Union of South American Nations) that have been created over the past many years will, by sheer necessity and desperation, be forced to re–organize themselves in the coming months and years. Even South America, which has two distinct camps that are constantly gummin’ up the works for each other, will abandon their current emerging model in favor of one that enjoys complete freedom from its North American taskmaster. To their credit, they have set the bar higher than it has ever been set concerning their strongly stated desire to be free of IMF and World Bank control. Only Russia has exceeded their standards, as they had already been fleeced by the Oligarchs in what may very well be the grandest larceny of national wealth/resources in history. This, of course, was preceded by a 75 year scourge of incessant rape, pillaging and plundering by the Bolsheviks and their Western financiers & handlers. Clearly Mr. Putin will not allow a repeat of any such conduct within his borders, and the international persecution that he has suffered certainly reflects their displeasure and frustration with him. No wonder Vladimir Putin is now considered a “reincarnation” of Peter the Great by his own people.
The ruinous influence of these two globalization thugs (IMF & WB) can be instantly assessed by looking at the economic calamities they caused in Argentina (1999-2002), as well as in Thailand, South Korea & Indonesia during the 1997 Asian currency crisis. Likewise, every nation in Africa that has chosen to take on their monetary yoke has only misery and war and financial oppression to show for it. Wherever these 2 scrooges show their faces, it’s quite like Ebenezer himself showing up to make a house call. You know the patient will soon find himself in a pine box after all the gold fillings and rings have been removed.
We have seen this globalization scam unfold in country after country, as a ruse to steal a nation’s resources, always taking from those who have, and giving to those who want it. In fact, an objective assessment of all the world’s current conflicts would reveal that the vast majority are directly the result of this geo-political/commercial dynamic. The privatization of water sources/bodies/supplies/rights is perhaps the most provocative and glaring, and can be found at the root of a number of these resource wars.
Clearly the verdict has been delivered: Economies are much less vulnerable, the more locally they are positioned and the less centralized their decision-making process. This arrangement affords much greater resiliency when dealing with the vicissitudes of the marketplace. And it takes the power away from those who are insulated in ivory towers, and far from the plight of the common man. It is time for everyone on the planet to “think globally; act locally”.
V. Stock market will become extinct. There is no greater tool at the disposal of those who can, and do, manipulate the various markets than the charade of “setting up” a formal system of trading, buying and selling of anything, as exemplified by the NYSE. This is where it all happens. From devastating whole national (and regional) economies, to toppling uncooperative corporate execs, to bringing 150 year old multi-billion $$$ companies to their knees within a week’s time. From triggering stockholder revolts, to propping up corporate raiders, to extorting billions from national and/or corporate treasuries. They can, and do, do it all right there on the floor.
Really, the very best example of what occurs in these speculative market exchanges is the gambling casino. In Vegas, everyone knows that the house ALWAYS wins. It never loses. Even when there is the appearance of losing, it still wins. Go figure, but it’s true. Your stockbroker is not too unlike the blackjack dealer. And your financial planner is often a croupier in disguise. So, the question remains, do you honestly know what your hard earned retirement money is invested in? If not, this is a very good time to find out!!!
For those of us who have been there, we know that whether you call it an oil bourse, a commodity exchange, or a bond market, you’re still playing in a game that can go against you at any time. Wipe out your earnings in a heartbeat; devour your principal in a flash. It’s often been said that when he comes, “he comes like a thief in the night”. Do you still feel you know where your entire life savings is currently residing?
The derivatives market represents the single greatest threat to worldwide economic stability and financial security. It poses such great potential for financial abuse and economic devastation that the current institutional arrangements of this commercial realm have become completely unacceptable. The alarming proliferation of hedge funds, as well as the growing number and variety of derivative instruments, has reached a critical mass that is incompatible with living a financially sound life on planet Earth. Simply put, some of these instruments are so far from the street – economic reality – that they put into jeopardy all the hard work, which appears in the form of real goods and services, that is produced by any economy at any given time. This predicament signifies a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to us all.
Remember – DERIVATIVES are the real megilla. Derivatives, by their very nature, can be highly radioactive, and can go nuclear any time circumstances conspire in just the right, or wrong, way. Those who control their destiny can, likewise, utilize their inherent threat as a means of conducting financial and economic terrorism anytime, anywhere completely under the radar screen. It’s time for them to go. And we trust it’s just a matter of execution at this point.
VI. Mass Consumerism & Perpetual Economic Growth – the Fric & Frac of our Age – are history. One need not look any further than the inside of one’s own home to see the ravages of these adopted twins. They own the bedroom, the living room, the family room and all the closets. They’ve taken over the kitchen, the den and the garage, as well. Since their middle names are Amass and Accumulate, we can only imagine what might lay hidden in the attic, the basement and the shed.
Ever since they became the twin pillars of Kali Yuga’s overarching philosophy of life, things started to really go to hell in a handbasket … or rather gilded cage. How so? What else could one expect from a political economy that demands growth, necessitates growth and extols the virtues of growth at every turn (and on every other commercial and newscast). Growth, at the expense of WHAT!! We’ll tell you what – Life!
One of the most tragic parts of this ever-unfolding tragedy has been the dramatic change in the spirit of the people with whom these twins associate. The very society loses its refinement, as the culture becomes debased. Aren’t so many things associated with Americana experienced as coarse, and crude, and crass? Likewise, the nation, which was once known as the “land of the free; home of the brave”, morphs into a country reviled for its unkindness, lack of compassion and cruelty. Before anyone realizes, the citizenry is easily being herded, and then stampeded, into wars and conflict of every sort and kind.
What else could be expected when the meme of consumerism is subliminally implanted at such a young and tender age, and relentlessly reinforced from cradle to grave? And, what does it really say about a society when all who belong to it are known as consumers. Kind of like little pac-men (and pac-women) gobbling up everything in sight. Starts out with BIG Macs and 24 oz cokes, then super-sized HUMMERS, then oil fields and gold mines and precious rainforests, and then whole countries.
Likewise, in the corporate realm, any board director, company officer, division president, regional director, department manager, production supervisor, etc. will candidly speak to the greatest pressure in their lives. More income, more sales, more profit, more production, more revenue – anything that will show an increase in year over year growth. Always gotta GROW, even though yuv been out of puberty for 20 or 30 years!?
Well, you can imagine that this state of affairs can only go on for so long. As a matter of fact, this party’s now over. And the hangover is about to begin. Perhaps it’s time to send these twins on a permanent vacation to the waterless region.
VII. War, as a means of wealth creation, is now bankrupt. War, as a means of conflict resolution, is over. As a means to any end whatsoever, war is finished. You get the picture, don’t you? War has outlived its usefulness, and has become as obsolete as the derivatives hawker. There is simply no more place for it in civil society. It’s time for the curtain to fall on this show for the last time, and for all of its bad actors to hit the stage exit.
It never was a legitimate policy for conflict resolution, as we know. Virtually all conflicts and wars were manufactured in the boardrooms of the world. And impeccably stage managed by the directors of the war studios. Isn’t the Iraq war a perfect example of this kind of terrible and awful-to-watch “B” movie?
Any deliberate, probing and unprejudiced analysis of all the major wars going back to the French Revolution will reveal an extraordinary degree of carefully calculated and coordinated events leading up to the actual conflagrations we call war. Just read the actual history that is only now beginning to surface, and you will reach this very same conclusion.
War has consistently served its masters in three ways which no longer have relevance in an enlightened civilization: (i) population control (ii) artificial creation of wealth for the plutocracy (iii) imposition of a tyrannical order in the wake of the chaos that always results from war. Population control in this context has different meanings. The number of people who are systematically genocided, wantonly annihilated and deliberately infected with disease agents serve the purpose of population reduction. Then there is the sheer terror of war and its effects on whole populations (see how easily controlled both the Germans and Japanese were after WWII). “Order out of chaos” is made easy when all concerned parties have been faced with the extraordinary distraction, mayhem and pandemonium that war always brings.
Let us once again proclaim, here and now, that: WAR HAS COME TO AN END.
VIII. There is a very profound and significant connection between the US Government sponsored and staged terrorist attacks of 9/11/01 and the PRE-PLANNED Financial & Economic 9/11 of 2008 that may be difficult for many to fully embrace. But here it goes:
The OMEN that 911 truly was, looks a little bit like THE LORD OF THE RINGS.
Remember the Twin Towers? When they came down in NYC, it was a message to humankind that the reign of the Almighty Dollar was coming to an end. As a nation’s currency goes, so goes its destiny. Her financial strength and economic prowess was on the wane, and soon to be greatly diminished. Just as the WTC (financial capital of the world) was pulverized into dust, the US Dollar would be swept into the ash heap of history. Just as we see it collapsing all around us, exactly 7 years after the original 911 apocalyptic events.
When the Ring of Power was finally destroyed, like the Pentagon (ring-shaped command center of the military-industrial complex) was mortally wounded and damaged, the message was equally clear. Her military might and superior force would be reduced to rubble in the twinkling of an eye. She would, likewise, soon see the demise of Her all-pervasive state sponsored terrorism. This, because She had lost all moral ascendancy. Besides, the empire could no longer be sustained politically, financially, practically or ethically, as the seeds of its own destruction had fully sprouted. The most fatal seed grew into that extremely corrupt and predatory form of corporate, crony capitalism which was so socially unconscious, and so environmentally unaware, it was quite doomed from the very beginning.
The GOOD NEWS is that this nation – its people – will now be compelled to beat their “swords into plowshares” and their “spears into pruning hooks”.
Just as the Phoenix rose from its ashes, so too will America ascend to even greater heights. As long as She ascends with the guidance of the highest of ideals, loftiest of principles and noblest of intentions. And She reforms, and transforms Herself, in good faith, in earnest and with haste.
As a modern day prophet said in the days immediately following September 11, 2001:
“America, Wake up ! ! ! Seize this God-given opportunity. There is no more time to dally in fear and ignorance and greed. For yours is a destiny that must serve as a beacon of Light and Hope and Peace to the world. Make haste, the time is drawing nigh!”

It’s Only a Change of Time
It’s been all of these ten years
But, nothing’s really changed
The horror of those who kill
Has, only been, rearranged!
We still have those terrorists
And, we all, are still at war
With each other/other countries
And, I just ask, “What for?”
The “Freedom” thing is kinda lame
While we’re slaves to the elite
Those of us, who have not, unhappy
Those who have it, think it’s neat.
But, those thousands killed
And, all of those maimed
So many in, those mass graves
So many graves, never to be named.
We still send our Soldiers to those wars
Spend lives and billions on that game
Where bullets, guns, bombs, and death
The rich, get richer, all the same!
It has been awhile, now
Ten years since, they got our attention
Kinda like, that Pearl Harbor
Warnings, someone, forgot to mention.
But, we just go on fighting
And hating, our fellow man
Keep making up excuses
To keep going, that wartime plan.
We’ll never know how many died
But, they don’t really count
As long as those warmongers
Can add bucks, to their account!!

A compilation of most of my 9/11 writings.
Abe
A Day to Remember
Anniversary is not a proper word
To mark the meaning of that day
And now, five years from that date
Is not nearly far enough away.
Too many families and loved ones
Still feel that pain down in their Soul
From the Towers to the Pentagon
To those who heard those words, “Let’s roll!”
Hearts still ache and tears still flow
On the eleventh of another year
Those who lost will always miss
All those People they hold, dear.
There are still unanswered questions
For those who ask the reason, “Why?”
Was it really necessary?
For all of those folks to die?
The nine/eleven Commission
They asked and probed and dug
Their many recommendations
Some dismiss, with just a shrug.
To correct all those problems
Will step on way too many toes
Might take some from their bottom line
We all know, that’s the way it goes.
For those who make the rules
Most politicians are the same
The only thing they care about
Is to play the lobbyist’s game.
If anything is to be done
The People, are who will make it so
We must write or fax or call
To make our Reps learn what we know.
Seems once they get elected
And they join that unique group
They forget from whence they came
And get caught up in the loop.
Not all of them are worthless
But seems there are very few
Who really want to do right
And represent me and you.
Our system is really broken
And there is really no quick cure
But at the polls in November
We can make a change, for sure.
So many things must be done
From our border to border
But there should be a sign in DC
That says it all, “Out of order!”
Some of the victim’s families
Have been working every day
To try to make a difference
They could show us all, the way.
So as we celebrate the lives
And mourn all of those who died
In all their names we must try
To regain our Nation’s pride.
“By and for the People”
Is the way that it should be
And whether it will or not
That is all up to you and me.

Four Years and a Week or So
A week and more of suffering
From another Enemy
After four years of Heartache
In this Land Of The Free.
The Towers and the Pentagon
And Heroes of that fateful Flight
The total lost as yet unknown
From those of the Gulf Shore’s plight.
In both, the hindsight twenty, twenty
Unanswered questions asking, “Why?”
Will the next time be much better
Will we have learned or even try?
Will power struggles cost more lives?
Will they learn to communicate?
Or will it be the same old thing
As the bureaucrats seal our fate?
Nobody’s fault, but everybody’s
From the very bottom to the top
But using Human lives as pawns??
That really must come to a stop!
Some of us are very lucky
We watch the horrors from afar
We can go on with our lives
Never knowing, where those Victims are.
When just a little bit of planning
Could have saved some of those lost
There’s no excuses when prevention
Could be done at not near this cost.
If not for People helping People
And doing the task on their own
We would never see the Light
Where the American Spirit’s shone.
The politicians do their politics
And so-called leaders fight for turf
But, those with boots on the ground
Are the ones who show their worth.
We must have a true accounting
And not let those losses be in vain
We must fix whatever there is wrong
So this will never happen again.
While Osama still roams free
And with more Storms to come our way
Let’s all remember all those lost
Since that September Eleventh Day.

9/11 Show And Tell
There’s many unanswered questions
That all those loved ones need to know
Maybe some important little things
Will help the healing, that goes so slow.
It’s not up to those in power
And officials who think it best
Everything must come out in the open
Before this thing can be put to rest.
The ones who grieve their losses
Are the ones who still pay everyday
And all they ask is for all the truth
For that price that they had to pay.
They should get all of the answers
At the least all that there are to know
And not be tied up in the red tape
By some bureaucratic so and so.
Del “Abe” Jones
10 Feb 2005
Three And Counting
Another anniversary
Of our “day of infamy”
Of battles against terror
And it’s war’s casualty.
Osama still on the roam
And the borders, we control (?)
Filling up with terrorists
Who come to thwart our goal.
Maybe, “we can win” the war
Or, “maybe we can’t”
Depends on who you talk to
Who’ll give you a different slant.
But, ask the friends and families
Of those who have already “lost”
And those who march in “harm’s way”
Who, really pays the “cost”?
The bureaucrats and diplomats
Political/military brass
Tell us it’s all necessary
And that, this too, will pass.
But, ask those who build the bombs
And blow themselves, to “Kingdom Come”
Who think killing innocent people
Will take them to “Martyrdom”.
They have no respect for life
Or the consequence of actions
Using any means to an “end”
Of all non-Muslim factions.
Our Nation is sadly learning
What others already knew
That the terrorists will never quit
No matter what we do.
We’ve also learned a lesson
That we should have known
We must work with other Countries
Because, we’ll never win, alone.

Our Lawmakers are Too Busy
(not taking care of our security and borders) They are too busy doing nothing And arguing about the same Wasting our money and their time With things like the “marriage” game.
Now they’re too busy getting ready
To go home until next year
Not thinking “the report” is scary
No, they don’t share our fear.
They don’t seem to think there’s danger
And the needed changes can wait
But, wonder what they will say
If they find out, next year was too late?

The Christian Thing To Do
(Christian Regenhard)
And the battle still goes on
Through the old bureaucracy
To make tall buildings safer
When there’s an emergency.
The owners and builders
Need to spend a little more
To plan and build them better
From the bottom to top floor.
Lessons taught that fateful day
Must make us all duty bound
To make sure there is change
And that safer ways are found.
No doubt, lives could be saved
If we learn from Nine-Eleven
In the name of all those Souls
Who took that trip to Heaven.
Del “Abe” Jones
1-30-2004
It’s Nine To Eleven
Two years of hurt and misery
That seems, like yesterday
To think, it still brings tears
At least, does me that way.
Can’t imagine, with a loved one
Or, even a close friend
Guess, I could be far removed
It wasn’t mine, who met their end.
But, in that days’ memory
A little bit of each loved soul
Adds their little, special bit
That, makes up, the whole.
A small piece of all Americans
And, all people who live free
Bring a little something, to it
To what, the rest, will see.
So, we must show resolve
Not, let them see us sway
Except, when our heads bow
For, those lost, that day.
Nine days to eleven, 2003
For The Kids
(reading names on 9/11)
The children of our future
Read the names of those passed
A tear was shed for everyone
From the first to the last.
“Daddy, we miss and love you.”
“Mom, you’re in my heart and prayers.”
“My Brother, you’re my hero.”
And, “We miss you.”, from sisters.
Godfathers and Godmothers
Aunts, Uncles and all Kin
Were all named and honored
With loving feelings from within.
Some names were hard to say
But, the Kids did quite well
Loved ones knew, who they were
That was, easy, to tell.
They stood there before us
And got through it with few tears
With a presence and maturity
Far, beyond their years.
They did us proud, showed the world
The meaning, of “true grit”
And let all know, freedoms’ torch
Will forever, remain, lit.
September eleventh, two thousand, three
The Final Solution
I couldn’t watch TV no more
My thirst had been fulfilled
I spent the day, hearing those
Whose loved ones had been killed.
I shed a tear (a bunch of them)
Although, I shouldn’t say
Because a real, grownup man
Should not act, that way.
He must be strong in his ways
And not show, if he cares
He must step up, not go back
As he climbs, those social stairs.
He can’t be honest to himself
Because, the truth, might feel
Like he’s never felt, before
Like, something, kinda real.
No wonder we won’t believe
In mankind’s evolution
Because his stupidity
Might be the real solution.

Working For The Devil
Less than twenty-four hours
Until the anniversary
Of when we lost our innocence
In the land of the free.
We’ve had our share of tragedies
From Mother Nature and our own
But this terror from a foreign land
Is the worst, that we have known.
The sickest part about that day
Was the reasons that they claim
That they were doing the bidding
Carried out in their gods’ name.
Martyrs in their crazy minds
Headed for some promised land
But the Devil is who welcomed them
In the world of the damned.
The worst part about it all
Are the ones who’ll take their place
Who keep Satan alive and well
Within, the human race.
9-10-2003
Seven, Four, Seventy-Six
In the year of 1776
Dreams of Freedom were Declared
New to the World, a way of Life
No way, to be compared.
Through the years, embattled
Some, tried taking it away
But, it survived, though changed
To what we know, today.
They’ve brought terror to our shores
And threatened our security
Made us run for cover
In this Land of the Free.
They made us see the World
In a different kind of light
Of the jealousy and hate
That would have, Freedom take flight.
But, the Soul of a Free people
Will always rise above the rest
To show the tyrants of the World
That Truth, comes from the Test.
Though, nothing is ever perfect
And we learn through our mistakes
Liberty will be triumphant
No matter, what it takes.
Our People and the Stars and Stripes
Will always lead the way
Because we know, what it’s like
To have an, Independence Day.

A Touch In The Wind
It was, a day for reflection
Starting, calm and so serene
Then, wind from those “Towers”
Started blowing, in between.
The names of Souls, spoken
Seemed, to alter nature’s course
And what it seemed to be
They came to say, “Goodbye!”, in force.
Reaching out and touching
All, who came to grieve
To say, “Get on with your life.
Because, we have to leave.”
“But, we won’t go far.
We’ll be in every breeze.
And, if you listen, you will hear us
Rustling through the leaves.”
“And, when those leaves have fallen
And the winters winds blow
Don’t worry, we’ll still be there
In every whirling flake of snow.”
“Then when, the springtime comes
And all things grow, anew
Please take joy, in knowing
We’ll still be there, with you.”
“They may have stopped our “being”
But, our Spirits, will soar
When you feel us in, the blowing winds
Where we’ll be, forever more.”

Private Galleries
Just think of all those images
Etched into every mind
Of everyone who saw “it”
Each snapshot, one of a kind.
Each blink of the eye
Was another pic not seen
But, enough between the tears
Of, each horrific, scene.
Those pictures will always be
There, in our, mind’s eye
Locked in our private galleries
Until, the day, we die.
9-8-02
A Little Less
Well, it’s been a year now
Since we had that nightmare
But, it seems like yesterday
With, all the pain still there.
Life for most goes on
But, for some, stands still
With that empty void inside
They try to find a way, to fill.
We can all reach out to them
And hold them in our heart
But we can’t mend the hurt
That, tears theirs, apart.
No matter how we try
And no matter what we say
There’s no way we can know
What they went through, that day.
It’s just one year of hurting
That will last their whole life through
Shared with all the teardrops
That were shed by me and you.
But, we must count our blessings
In this “land of the free”
Although there aren’t as many
As, there used to be.

Sixteen Acres
A few acres of heartache
Of, the most sacred ground
But, all “they” see is money
The most valuable, around.
We all know, who will win
It’s “them”, with all the means
It won’t be the souls, that cry
From, those most horrific scenes.
And if “they” build, buildings
Each window, will show
The reflections of a life
Someone, will never know.
There will be, some peeking out
And, looking to the sky
To, see the crash, that took them
And ask, the question, “Why?”
There will be, some looking down
And, trying to find release
Amongst the structures that “they” build But, there will be no peace.
They were killed in an attempt
To hurt, the almighty dollar
Now, “they” want to put the greed
Right back, into that “holler”.
The most expensive land on Earth
With some(?) dollars, for each “BEING”
But, more profits for “the few”
Is all we will, be seeing.
That hallowed ground, is for the rich
To make, “their” profits soar
As if “they” didn’t have enough
All “they” want, is more.
Even, sixteen acres won’t replace
A small part, of the pain
Of, those lost souls, innocent
We’ll, never see again.

Until The End, My Friend
I don’t ever think I’ve had
Since Oklahoma City
Something move into my soul
And the heart, of me.
The pain I feel inside
For all the human race
Makes me feel ashamed inside
And, want to hide my face.
I know I’ve always known
How cruel, we all could be
But, in the past year
Saw, more, than, I should see.
Nobody deserves
The wrath of the hate
But, then I stop and think
I didn’t have to wait.
I’ve seen it all my life
But, didn’t care to look
Until, I started writing
And, put it in a book.
A book, I shouldn’t written
For, the words hurt so deep
And the memories I know
I know, I shouldn’t keep.
But, it will never change
Until, we’re no longer here
Because the human, is the death
Of, life, on Earth, I fear.

Five More Sides To The Story
It seems the Towers and Flight 93
Dominate the headline news
But there were many others
Who were as painful to lose.
The men and women at the Pentagon
Who spend each and every day
Working to keep our world safe
And protect, “The American Way”.
They could never have imagined
They were there, on the “front line”
In the battle to preserve the “Freedoms”
And the “Rights” of yours and mine.
In the midst of the “battle”
And beginning of the “war”
They stood, and faced the “enemy”
Did their “duty” and, so much more.
So many “heroes” in that building
That we will never, ever know
And so many acts of “bravery”
That the civil/military show.
We should all “salute” them
And bow our heads in prayer
To thank them for their sacrifice
To show them how much we care.
8-27-02
But, The People Never Came!
On September eleventh
We all know, New York City
Was shrouded in a cloud
Of, the worst atrocity.
They waited in their scrubs
In the emergency room
Waiting for survivors
To be brought out of the gloom.
They waited on the sidewalks
Stretchers/wheelchairs at hand
Prepared for a disaster
They had, rehearsed and planned.
But, the people never came
As they waited through the night
Then, they began to realize
That, something wasn’t right.
There should have been hundreds
Coming to them, needing care
And the hope started to fade away
As, they impatiently, waited there.
There were a few, brought in
And a few, came on their own
On this most horrific day
New York City’s ever known.
They waited for the people
As thousands called, with a name
Searching for their loved ones
And friends, who never came.
The adrenaline was flowing
As they stood their sad vigil
Wondering when, the rush would start
But, believing that, “It will!”
The day and night came and went
As their hope, began to wane
And their pent-up energy
Turned to helplessness and pain.
Doctors, nurses, technicians
And so many volunteers
Thought of those who never came
And began to shed their tears.
Some still, with a shred of hope
That, in the days to come
Those survivors might be found
At the least, maybe some.
But, the people never came
That, they were waiting for
Because, they waited up above
To get through Heavens’ door.
8-26-02
Not Again?
I have the strangest feeling
That, on the anniversary
There’s going to be another
Terrorist atrocity.
I think they’ll try to do it
And this time, maybe more
Just to show us that, they can
Slip, once more through Freedoms’ door.
It would really be a coup for them
To hit us on that day
Especially, if we let them
Once more, have their way.
They could shove it down our throats
And make us live in fear
Bring the war on terrorism
Right back, over here.
I hope that I am wrong
And there’s nothing to it
But, I still have that feeling
That, they are going to do it.
8-21-02
The Bottom Of The Pit
They’ve emptied out the “Pit”
Of all of the debris
But, it’s still overflowing
With the Souls you cannot see.
There’s twenty-eight hundred plus
And friends and family left behind
Crying out for justice
For answers of some kind.
But it seems, there are no reasons
For such an EVIL deed
No reason for the horror
Sown from that hateful seed.
Some people say their “god” (?)
Will bless them for their act
For killing all those innocents
In their despicable attack.
But, if there is such a “god”
He must live down in Hell
And, if he isn’t Satan
Must be, related to that Devil.
The God most people know
Would not condone such a crime
And will punish those responsible
When it comes their time.
He’ll send them down into the “Pit”
And damn them for eternity
To burn forever with their “god”
Where they deserve to be.
Old Glory In 2001
Those “Stars And Stripes” gained new meaning In the year two thousand and one It flew prouder over our Country Where a new war had begun.
On September eleventh
“They” tried to bring it down
Along with those “Two Towers”
That came crashing to the ground.
But, the American people caught it
And held it high for all to see
This is still, “The Home Of The Brave”
And, “The Land Of The Free”.
Those people who do evil
Will shudder at the sight
As “Old Glory” catches them
In all its power and might.
We might not always do justice
Under its waving grace
But, it’s meaning to Freedom
Will always stand it’s place.
It’s always been a symbol
And hope, for people in this world
It sends a very special message
Each time, it is unfurled.
The “Stars And Stripes” will wave
Those colors, “Red, White, And Blue”
As long, as there are Freedom lovers
Or all life on Earth, is through.
Family, Friends, And Freedom
This year is more important
Than any, we have known
To, appreciate those lessons
We, sadly, have been shown.
In one day, we have learned
That, “this land of the free”
Has been changed forever
From what, it used to be.
We’ve taken it for granted
Free, from the strife of war
Fought, in some foreign land
Brought to, our home shore.
This battle must be waged
Each, and every day
If we hope, to preserve
“The American way”.
We must stand together
And make the decision
To end all of those things
That can bring, division.
Family, friends and freedom
Must go hand in hand
With tolerance for those
We may not understand.
Selfish greed and violence
And the “world corporation”
Will surely, be the downfall
Of, the worlds’ greatest Nation.
9/11 was the day
We got, our wake-up call
And we must, do our part
“All for one, and one for all”.
THANKS for being born here
(Or, coming here to live)
We must do all we can
GIVING, all we can give.
Thanksgiving Day, 2001
Of history’s’ turning page
Is the first day of the war
For Peace, that we must wage.
Thanksgiving Eve 2001
“Let’s Roll”
They were on a flight
Going from here to there
Just another day
Each one, without a care.
Some were on a cell phone
With loved ones or business
What they all talked about
We can only guess.
Then they got the news
About WTC
And then they realized
The next one is “we”.
Some of them were moved forward
The rest moved to the rear
And it’s hard to imagine
The helplessness and fear.
But, they must have got to talking
And figured out their plight
That in the list of “bombers”
They were, the next “flight”.
Wonder what went through their minds
And how much, they were “scared”
But, when they thought, ” The USA”
Realized, how much they cared.
We think about our “heroes”
And those on the “front line”
Then, we all heard, “Let’s roll”
They knew, that it was time.
To step up and sacrifice
Whatever, it may take
And made the call, most of us
Won’t ever have to make.
They went down in Victory
The first against the terrorists
Showed the will of Americans
Is strong, and still exists.
They stood up for America
Knew what they had to do
And let’s not ever forget
They did it, for me and you.
Nobody will ever know
What went on, on that plane
We just know, it added to
The misery and pain.
We all had, had enough
On that September day
But, they just gave us more
To pray for, the same way.
Another bunch, of the lost souls
We lost on nine-eleven
But they aren’t lost for they found
Their little niche in heaven.
8-20-02
9/11
An anniversary coming soon
With no celebration
A day to observe
What’s happened to our nation.
Maybe, this time will be different
That, we won’t soon, forget
And we’ll remember day to day
That, it’s not over, yet.
8-19-02
Where Was I?
I was feeling kind of ill
And stayed home that day
Was watching the morning news
As usual, that’s my way.
Katie, Matt, Ann and Al
Were doing what they do best
But, little did they know
About that day of “our test”.
I don’t remember what the “news” was
Probably the same old thing
There were some elections
Part of what, makes “Freedom Ring”.
Then, the “breaking news”
About a “terrible accident”
Even that was bad enough
But, much worse, where it went.
I called a friend at work
And while I talked to her
The second plane struck
And then I felt the “terror”.
The tears began to flow
And my heart began to ache
As I hoped, it was a bad dream
Or some terrible mistake.
But, as that day went on
In a blurred, slow motion haze
I realized our country’s history
Had moved to an unknown phase.
The security of our borders
Had been forever changed
And they way we think about ourselves
Drastically re-arranged.
We’re in the “real world” now
And, that’s so sad, I thought
But, we’ll have to make the best of it
Whether we like it, or not.
A year has come, to pass
But, that day will linger here
In my heart and mind
As, I shed another tear.
I hope we’ve learned some lessons
But, I do it with some doubt
Because, hate, greed and jealousy
Is, what mankind seems to tout.
8-18-02
911 On 9-11
You cowards of the world
Don’t think, you can rejoice
For, hear this message loud and clear
From one, united voice.
The civilized among us
Will make you rue this day
And you’ll find it won’t be worth
The price, you’ll have to pay.
Some say they are “holy wars”
But that mighty supreme being
Must be cringing from the sights
That He has been seeing.
I bet He never dreamed
That He’d created such as you
That the Devil could possess
And make you do what you do.
He didn’t create life on Earth
To destroy one another
You might think you’ll go to Heaven
But, you’ll end up in the “other”.
When people kill their fellowman
In the name of their “Maker”
All of them end up as
The worst kind of “forsaker”.
Religious zealots have killed more
Than, for any other reason
And it has been the worst kind
Of, what some may call treason.
An affront to all that’s right
That’s decent and humane
Strong beliefs are okay
Until, they become, insane!
You didn’t strike America
You hurt every human soul
And you gave us all resolve
To thwart your evil goal.
You are less than animals
Worse than rats from the sewer
A mutant of our species
That this world has to endure.
But, your days are numbered
Hear this, above the painful wail
That people of good will and heart
Are the ones, who will, prevail.
9-11-01
Cathedral Of Tears
Jutting from the rubble
Up through the smoky haze
Like spires of a Cathedral
Where the “believer” prays.
Seven stories of heartache
Left from the hundred-ten
Of those two mighty towers
Never to be seen again.
For thousands who have perished
And the loved ones they leave
A monument to all of us
Who shed our tears, and grieve.
In its eerie setting
There was a sort of beauty
Standing guard over those
Who died doing their duty.
A strange sense of peace
Amidst the scene of ruin
As others search for comrades
Who died, doing what they’re doing.
There’s been heroes by the hundreds
And some stories, never known
But in God’s Cathedral
They’ll sit upon His throne.
The “Cathedral Of Tears”
Will last in our mind’s eye
As we bow our heads
And ask, “Why, dear Lord? Why?”
9-20-01
The Whole Heartland
I wrote about the heartland
When the Murrah Building fell
And I thought at that time
We’d had a taste of “hell”.
But, to see “The Towers”
Over NYC
Fall into the ground
Took, the heart out of me.
Knowing all those souls
With nowhere to run
Like looking down the barrel
Of a cocked, loaded gun.
Watching people jump
To a certain, horrid death
Made me wonder what I’d say
With my last, final breath.
Or looking out the window
To watch, that “hell” doomed plane
As it crashed into me
Through, that shattered window pane.
The terror in my mind
And my helpless reeling
As my body blew away
Into that deathly feeling.
Knowing all those loved ones
That I would never see
Would bow their heads in sorrow
And say, a prayer for me.
But, prayers don’t seem to do
All that, we think they should
And most the time we wonder
If prayers do any good.
Does “He” really care?
Has “He ” ever heard?
Does, “He” really listen
To, our “private word”?
And if, “He” does hear them
Why does “He” forsake “them”
When we try to do it right
Even, followed by “Amen”.
Can “He” be so cruel
That, “He” will make us pay
For, that “bite of the apple”
That, sent us all this way.
I guess, sometimes the “Devil”
Might have the upper hand
And give us pain and heartbreak
So, we will understand.
We have to take the good things
That, delve into our heart
As well, as the bad
That, break our heart, apart.

A Different Calling
This year the “Memorial” has changed
It’s different than those past
A different kind of war
From a different, “stone cast”.
The battle is at Freedom’s doorstep
With heroes of a different kind
Now, all of us are “Soldiers”
Against, the terrorists “sick” mind.
Civilians have always been
A part of every war
But, in this day and age
We must do, so much more.
If we expect to win this Battle
We must all join hands
In a strong, determined circle
With, Freedom lovers from all lands.
This world has changed forever
“The American Way”
There’s so much more at stake
Than, the way we live and play.
Since 9-11 we’re learning
The horrors of this world
Can even come to where
Freedoms Flag is, unfurled.
This day was meant to Honor
All, Military Heroes have endured
Now, we all could join their Ranks
If our resolve, is not assured.
So, let us all take a moment
To respect all those, “Fallen”
And vow, we’re all up to the task
Of this, different “Calling”.
May 26, 2002
Veterans All
Well! We’re in a different world
Than, what, we ever knew
It will never, be the same
As it was, for me and you.
I think that, since 9/11
Some words forever changed
Like the meaning of “Veteran”
Has been, re-arranged.
Now, we all are fighters
For our “freedoms’ cause”
If we don’t stand, be counted
We’ll have lost, “the cause, that was!”
On this Veterans’ Day
In this “land of the free”
We honor those, who gave all
Those with us, and those, yet to be.
We honor those who perished
In attacks upon our shore
And those hunting evildoers
Who came through our “open door”.
We honor all Americans
And freedom lovers of the world
Where flags like, “The Stars And Stripes”
Fly in the breeze, unfurled.
I think from this day forth
All patriotic celebrations
Will always give us pause
To these new, realizations.
We must rid this Earth
Of those “Devils” and their goals
With terror on their minds
Within their hateful souls.
So, here’s to all the Veterans
Who have made “Freedom Ring”
And, those around the world
Who know! We have a “special” thing.

July The Fourth, Two Thousand Two
I wonder what those folks would think
(Those, who wrote our Freedom’s Declaration) Would they believe, those happenings That have, forever changed our Nation.
Would they believe, some terrorists
Are, from our Country, homegrown
Spreading hate, death, and destruction
In the Homeland of their own.
Would they believe our “open door”
Has ushered in our enemy
Those who believe we’re evil
And don’t believe in Liberty.
What would they think, if they could see Crime running rampant, in the street Guns, drugs, and homeless people And so many more, locked-in, retreat.
Would they believe, Freedoms treasured
Have been twisted all around
To where the criminals civil rights
Beat the victims, to the ground.
Would they believe, that businesses
Most of them, big and small
Treat their employees as the pawns
To reach, “the bottom line”, that’s all.
Would they believe, those voted to Office Who we should trust, to guide the way Can’t be trusted, most of the time To live up to what, they say.
What would they think, would they rewrite And would they take exceptance To what we did, with what they wrote In The Declaration Of Independence.

Seven Come Eleven
On this day we remember
That “day of infamy”
And sadly we understand
More than we want to see.
A “sneak attack” on Freedom
And the American way
Brought back to reality
On Septembers’ eleventh day.
Thousands died in forty-one
With so many not retrieved
Resting in their watery grave
O’er which friends and family grieved.
Now we have another place
Known to all, as “Ground Zero”
Where we have another bunch
Of, the American Hero.
Sixty years of times’ passage
Hasn’t changed the “Patriot”
Hasn’t dampened our resolve
To remember, not, forget.
Those who gave their, “all”
And those, still yet, to “give”
Standing for, protecting
The kind of life, we live.
The casualties of war
Don’t always bear a gun
But, they all are Heroes
When all is said and done.
Now, we have another one
Of those “infamous” days
With the horrible cost
That Freedom, often, pays.
December 7, 2001
“Not Uniform”
They put on the uniform
And badge of silver/gold
And, it’s been that way
Since the days of old.
They stand tall and take an oath
Swear, “To protect and serve.”
But, it seems, they never get
The praise that they deserve.
They put their life on the line
And they don’t fear the cost
Until their friends and families
Have to pay the “final cost”.
We don’t want them till we need them
And sometimes they’ll seal our fate
Sometimes, they come too soon
And sometimes they come too late.
But, they are always willing
To come to our rescue
Or to help us with some things
Important, to me and you.
Sure! There are some bad ones
But most, are the very best
Who aren’t afraid to stand firm
Face and pass the “final test”.
We have to stand behind them
For they are all we’ve got
Between us and “the bad guys”
Who care for a lot of naught.
Del “Abe” Jones
2001
The Fifth Of The Eleventh
A five year anniversary
From that day we came of age
When we really saw the terror
From this World’s awful rage.
The hate of Godless people
Who say they have the faith
Who kill themselves and others
Like some unholy wraith.
We learned that our borders
Are really open to the rest
Of those who would do us harm
And put our Nation to the test.
I wonder if we learned our lesson
And it doesn’t seem that’s so
It seems we try to ignore things
Or else, pretend we don’t know.
We leave those borders open
They come and go as they may
And as these times are showing
There’ll be worse to come one day.
Since then, we’ve been at way
And though our enemies were known
We keep losing souls in battles
Where no true danger was shown.
We see parting families hurting
As they tell loved ones goodbye
And worse, the pain and sadness
When loved ones get hurt or die.
Now we have a breeding ground
Where those terrorists can train
Killing our bravest Soldiers
As Muslims treat us with disdain.
We’re not making many friends
And as for National Security
It doesn’t seem we’re any safer
Than what we thought we used to be.
Bin Laden is still running free
And Al Qaeda never went away
And the terrorists numbers
Just keep growing, day by day.
We don’t have the will or way
To pay for all of those means
So we don’t have to see another
Of those horrific, deadly scenes.
We’ll just wait until it happens
And wonder why we were so slow
To take those safety measures
While some say, “We told you so!”
The lobbyists and politicians
Are going to get their pork, first
Then, what’s left goes to the people
After they have quenched their thirst.
Oh, let’s not forget other countries
Who get billions from our aid
And though they say they owe us
The bill never seems to get paid.
This World really is a different place
And it will never be the same
With all of these people hating
And all in some god’s name.
So, as we mark this anniversary
Of that Eleventh of September
Let’s just hope that is the worst
That, we’ll have to remember.
Del “Abe” Jones
8-11-2006
Leave No One Behind
They have found some more remains
That have lain hidden for so long
And no matter what excuse they make
There is something surely wrong.
What if you were a Family
Who had nothing to lay to rest
And then, now it begins all over
As new hopes are put to an old test.
They want to have some closure
A place to visit those they lost
To have a private place to go
The least deserved, for their awful cost.
Haven’t they lost enough?
Haven’t they felt enough pain?
Without wondering, “How many more?”
Places not searched, still remain.
It seems to be really obvious
These lost ones should have been found
Back then, not five years later
Once more the victims were let down.
With all of our technologies
And with proper leaders in place
GZ should be searched once more
For even the smallest trace.
How much longer must those souls wait
And will the families ever really know
Some peace and put them to rest
In some private place where they can go.
All Americans should be outraged
With many from some other Nations
Just one more thing to add to
The list of family’s frustrations.
We shouldn’t blame the workers
Those in charge are those to blame
Like almost all priorities
Just part of the money game.
Just like the “Commission”
The only way things will get done
Is when the People demand it
And we should, each and everyone.
Bureaucracy and politics
Have once more raised their ugly head
Bowing to uncaring sources
And not doing what’s right, instead.
Del “Abe” Jones

The Die Is Cast
(The Military)
We may wear different uniforms
And our traditions not the same
We may sing different marching tunes
But our drummer’s beat’s the same.
With our Freedom’s Flag unfurled
We travel land and air and sea
To protect this way of life we live
To show others how life could be.
We all march shoulder to shoulder
Proud Sisters and Brothers, all
We take a solemn vow and swear
We will answer our Nation’s call.
Some may serve one hitch or two
For some, will be their life’s career
Some will serve, “over there”
And there’s some, will stay right here.
We come from all walks of life
To join in that one common cause
To guard and protect the U.S.A.
So we won’t be, that Land, that was.
We are out there at the forefront
For all the rest the World to see
To show them all how proud we are
Of this great Land of the Free.
All who serve should take a bow
Then stand straight and tall with pride
Salute that ol’ red white and blue
Sisters and Brothers, side by side.
Someday maybe, they won’t need us
And wouldn’t that be just fine
For all mankind to live in Peace
Sometime there, on down the line.
But until that day finally comes
And tyrants are part of our past
We must be ready to face them
For, that’s how our die is cast.
Del “Abe” Jones
9-7-2006
Peace Or War?
Yet, another year has passed by
Since, those terrorists struck our Land
Even, after all this time gone by
Still hard, to comprehend or understand.
How can a person hate so much
And be so blinded, by their belief
To take their life, and so many others
To cause such terror, pain, and grief ?
All those folks they didn’t even know
Who never caused them any harm
Who died while just living their lives
Without, any forewarning or alarm.
Sadly, since that “War” began
Many thousands more, have died
And those who shed tears on Nine Eleven
Just some, of too many, who have cried.
The man who caused all that horror
Still walks free, to wreak his wrath
And, it seems that, so many more
Now, walk along that deadly path.
Our World is forever changed
And it will never, be the same
Sad, such evil lives among us
Especially, in religion’s name.
Voices calling for Goodwill and Peace
Are drowned out, by the drums of War
And the destruction of all Mankind
It seems is all, we really, are good for?
So, on Nine Eleven, we’ll remember
Souls lost then, and since, that fateful day And, if you believe in, some kind of God You should ask for Peace too, if you pray!
Del “Abe” Jones

9/11 2009
It’s been eight years since that day
When all those people, went away
And just another sad, sad, date
When, all those souls, met their fate.
A day that will live in infamy
In our short, American history
Where we once, lived the life
Without all, these fears and strife.
Way back, when we felt secure
But, nowadays, we can’t be sure
What the tomorrow, may bring
That could be, ‘most anything.
We spent those days, cared for naught
Never appreciating, all we’d got
As now that peaceful, slips away
We wonder where, we went astray.
There’s lots of reasons, we should know
Those places that, we oughtn’t go
But, it seems that, we haven’t learned
All that knowledge, we have earned.
While we have, this day of sorrow
Wonder what, we’ll feel tomorrow
Will our concerns all fade away
As we return, to selfish games we play.

And not always wrong from right
But without the poet’s written word

Abe
A Marine Birthday
(November 10)
Eight years after they were formed
At the end of the Revolutionary War
All the Navy’s ships were sold
Marines and Sailors were no more.
Then, in Seventeen ninety-eight
The Marines once more came to be
And they fought Barbary pirates
Along the “Shores of Tripoli”.
During the War of Eighteen Twelve
They defended Washington
Along with many other Operations
Before that War was done.
They served in the Mexican War
And among Battles that they fought
One to the “Halls of Montezuma”
Alongside General Winfield Scott.
“Bull Run” during the Civil War
And blockades at Cape Hatteras
At New Orleans and Charleston
And Fort Fisher toward the last.
The Spanish-American War
The Boxer Rebellion in China
Fights in Cuba, Mexico, Haiti
In Nicaragua and Panama.
On the Battlefields of France
The “Devil Dogs” earned their name
And many thousands killed or wounded
In World War One’s deadly game.
And most of us know their stories
About the Heroes of WWII
There’s some seem impossible
But we all know they’re true.
During the War in Korea
Twenty-five thousand gave their all
Fighting many gallant battles
Answering our Country’s call.
“The Cold War” found them everywhere
In countries all around the Earth
Trying hard to keep the Peace
And showing all their worth.
In Sixty-Five they landed in Da Nang
With eighty-five thousand “in country”
They served with Pride and Honor
Although our Country would not see.
On their Two Hundred Thirtieth Birthday
We have them serving in Iraq
As well as so many other places
To try to hold the Terrorists back.
Maybe someday there will be Peace
And Good Will on Earth and more
But until then let’s all give Thanks
We have the United States Marine Corps.
Semper Fidelis
On the tenth day of November
In Seventeen seventy-five
Two Battalions were formed
And the Marine Corps came alive.
The Continental Congress
Had passed a resolution
For a landing force for the fleet
A new Navy Institution.
Since that day so long ago
Through all conflicts of our Nation
They’ve fueled stories and folklore
And stirred the imagination.
They’re usually the first to go
The “spearhead” of the fight
Some who heard they were coming
Have turned tail and took flight.
They’ve offered up, gave their All
And that continues to this day
Standing tall, marching forth
To show others, Freedom’s way.
The Marine Corps War Memorial
(Iwo Jima)
Said a Vet from Nineteen forty-five,
”Men were dying by the score.”
An eyewitness to a famous Battle
Immortalized forever more.
Quartermaster on a LST
“Eyewitness to a sad, horrible day.”
“A slaughter right there on the Beach”
Is what, this Veteran had to say.
Coast Guardsman Robert Resnick
Was more than just a witness there
He furnished the Stars and Stripes
In that picture all generations share.
A symbol for the Marine Corps
Cast in bronze for all to see
The Flag raised on that mountain top
Is part of our Nation’s History.
One of the bloodiest Battles of the War
Fought for thirty-six days and nights
More than twenty two thousand Japanese
In one of the Marines fiercest fights.
The first part of Japan we invaded
And as Resnick’s ship sat on the beach
Marine Gagnon asked him for a Flag
And a long pipe to raise its reach.
They lost their sight of the Marine
As he headed to that Mountain top
Amidst the gun’s bullets flying
That never, ever seemed to stop.
As they began to leave the Beach
A tremendous cheer went all around
And, “Every ship tooted its horn.”
As they raised the Flag that he had found.
For years another was credited
Until the year, Two thousand-one
When at a Fifth Marine Convention
The Marines learned he really was the one.
A big, old Marine bellowed out,
“Do you really mean to tell me,
That you never realized that you
Won that Battle, single-handedly?”
The President of the Fifth Marines
Made him an honorary member
And as they did some tears were shed
As they all began to remember
About that day sixty years ago
Up there on Mount Surabachi
When the Stars and Stripes were raised high
Was still a vivid, cherished, memory.
Four For The Corps
These four young Men from our State
Have paid the Price, Supreme
They gave their All in the Pursuit
Of Freedom, every Man’s dream.
They did what all Marines would do
And have since the Corps began
They stood Tall and gave their Lives
To Protect their fellow man.
This small Tribute that we give
For those Heroes in our Heart
While we know they would say,
“Just doin’ our job! Our part!”
I wrote the preceding after receiving the following >
My husband and I are hosting a Marine Corps Ball in remembrance of 4 young Marines from our state that were killed in battle and we were wondering if we could use your poem. We may put it on a plaque for the families of these brave young men. Credit will be given to you. Thank you,
Sherry Johnson
Del “Abe” Jones
Written for/about a friend’s Son >
Left With A Life Of Dying
An acquaintance who has a Son
Who has fought in this war
A Marine who did his duty
That’s what Marines are for.
Two tours in the battle zones
Just part of his history
He was discharged, came home
And like many, with, PTSD.
He tried to get some help
But, he was turned away
Sad, that happens many times
When they go to the VA.
He worked, for a little while
On his own, he tried to cope
His problems began to grow
And he started to lose hope.
He tried drugs, to ease the pain
That, tormented his sick mind
But he found they didn’t help
Just sickness, of a different kind.
He spent his time in a daze
And as drugs usually do
Only took him deeper into hell
‘Til he wished his life was through.
He couldn’t function, lost his job
He lost his house and car
His Wife and Children left him
When he pushed them, too far.
He spent some time on the street
Where so many Veterans go
He had finally hit the bottom
Which, for some, is the deathblow.
Mom saved him, took him in
Cause Mom’s love has no bounds
Your Mom is always Mom
With a strength that astounds.
Finally getting off the drugs
But, just a shell of the Man
Who fought for his Country
In some, far off, foreign land.
The illness there in his mind
Still ate away, untreated
And as each day passed by
The more this Man retreated.
He didn’t know what to do
To right the wrongs, he’d done
But as the old saying goes
Once a Marine, always one.
So, one day he re-enlisted
And now, waiting to ship out
Thinks, fighting and killing
Is what his life is all about.
He told his Mom he hoped
That this, might make things right
Because he’d lost the Battle
His Country, left him alone, to fight.
The moral of this story?
(I guess, moral’s the wrong word)
There are so many stories like this
Sadly, that will never be heard.
We can’t see the deepest wounds
When, they’re hidden there, inside
While some can overcome them
Too many, have nowhere to hide.
We should be ashamed and outraged
We let so many Heroes die
After they come home and try to live
But then, can’t find a reason, “Why?”
I hope this one story has an ending
Where his demons are chased away
But, I fear that will not happen
For only fairytales, end that way.

Sorry about that,
I’m trying to find the place
that stores who gets sent those
E mail thingies so I can delete your E-mail
to stop the annoying messages.
I’m not good with computers but there
must be a way and I will keep looking.
In the meantime,
perhaps you can block
any E mail from this site
and that should work (I hope)
SORRY about the junk E mails-
I’ll try to find out where
to go in the jumble of options
and will delete your e mail address
if I can find it.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention-
I hate junk E mail myself and would
never bother people with it if
I can help it.
In the meantime,
I would try blocking any E mail
from this site from reaching
your mail box and I hope that works-
I’m really dumb with computers.
Again, sorry,
my site is hosted on wordpress
and I’m not sure how it all works.

Let us not forget that Reagan’s future vp (Bush)
and cia chief (Casey) met with the Ayatolla Khomeini
behind the back of the then-current Carter
administration (treason) and arranged for Iran
to keep the American hostages until after the election.
In return Iran got,
at the very least,
a conduit thru which to illegally
receive missiles and other armaments–
which came to light when traitor Ollie North
got busted taking the missile $$$ and giving
it to friends in Central America who turned out,
naturally enough,
to be drug smugglers USA-bound.
Ah,
the good old days…

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.

I’m envious. I can not get this many individuals to remark on my blog site. What is your magic solution? Possibly some valuable Tips would help me out.
Brittny Wiscombe - July 5, 2013 at 6:57 pm |
I wish I knew some secrets for that.
Just update daily or more
often and hope the masses respond.
I get way more spam than responses,
considering the number of hits I get
daily now.
I’m working almost fully without feedback
so that is a drag, I like responses.
It took many years to build an audience
as large as it is now,
just keep at it and don’t listen to most
advice because each site is different.
Follow your own star,
do what interests you,
and don’t pander to the
masses or you will fade
into the Internet background.
Thank You for the question and
Thank You for reading 22MOON Brittny!

Hi Mike,
Happy New Year!
Best wishes to you, David and Hashi0 –
I’m not on Facebook or Twitter due to
the enormous amount of hours I burn
daily updating 22moon,
scanning dozens of stories to finally
choose each one.
Re-cropping every single photo,
then running them through color filters
before post them.
I gotta go,
I’m doing the Thursday
postings and the people
are waiting – whew
too bad this job does not pay.
(I keep resisting the
urge to accept advertising)

WTF.
Ice - March 5, 2019 at 6:12 am |
Hey, how’s it going?
I want to pass along some very important news that everyone needs to hear!
In December of 2017, Donald Trump made history by recognizing Jerusalem as the captial of Israel. Why is this big news? Because by this the Jewish people of Israel are now able to press forward in bringing about the Third Temple prophesied in the Bible.
Jewish Rabbis have publicly announced that their Messiah will be revealed in the coming years who will be a leader and spiritual guide to all nations, gathering all religions under the worship of one God. They deny Jesus as their Messiah, and the Bible tells us this Jewish Messiah will be the counterfiet that will bring about a false peace, and ultimatley the great tribulation.
They even printed a coin to raise money for the Temple with Donald Trumps face on the front and with king Cyrus'(who built the second Temple) behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the third Temple.
More importantly, the power that runs the world wants to put a RFID microchip in our body making us total slaves to them. This chip matches perfectly with the Mark of the Beast in the Bible, more specifically in Revelation 13:16-18:
“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
Referring to the last days, this could only be speaking of a cashless society, which we have yet to see, but are heading towards. Otherwise, we could still buy or sell without the mark amongst others if physical money was still currency. This Mark couldn’t be spiritual because the word references two different physical locations. If it was spiritual it would just say in the forehead. RFID microchip implant technology will be the future of a one world cashless society containing digital currency. It will be implanted in the right-hand or the forehead, and we cannot buy or sell without it! We must grow strong in Jesus. AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT TAKE IT!
“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:9-11).
People have been saying the end is coming for many years, but we needed two key things. One, the Third Temple, and two, the technology for a cashless society to fulfill the prophecy of the Mark of the Beast.
Visit http://WWW.BIBLEFREEDOM.COM to see proof for these things and much more!
If you haven’t already, it is time to seek God with all your heart. Jesus loves you more than you could imagine. He wants to have a relationship with you and redeem you from your sins. Turn to Him and repent while there is still hope! God bless!
