Fangs ain’t what they used to be –
Twilight may be a top box office
draw but old timer Dracula has
been voted the top screen vampire,
WWW.SFX.CO.UK website
reports August 22nd, 2010.

The Transylvanian count proved
to be top of the popularity stakes,
beating characters from TV shows

and Being Human.

Dracula beat the new blood to top
the list in a poll commissioned by
leading sci-fi and fantasy
magazine SFX.

The fiendish bloodsucker

from the US TV series Buffy,
while in third place was Angel
from the same show.

More than 8,000 fans took part
in the www.sfx.co.uk website survey
as part of the magazine’s 200th
issue celebrations.

Robert Pattinson’s Twilight
character Edward Cullen failed
to make the top ten and figures
only at number 14.

He was even beaten by cartoon
character Count Duckula which
was placed in ninth position
