A SINGLE mum

has revealed how

love cheat

Tiger Woods

would send text

messages to other

women while he

was in bed with her,

Gorgeous Cori Rist said she had

a two-and-a-half year affair with

Woods, 33,

after meeting him at a Manhattan

nightclub in New York.

The 31-year-old said she realised

Woods was seeing other women

when she would wake up in the

middle of the night and catch him

texting from his mobile phone.

She said:

“I’d wake up in the night

and he would be texting.

I’d ask him what he was

doing and he would say

he was answering emails.

I had this feeling,

I knew it was

something bigger.”

Rist later wept as she told the

NBC Today show of her guilt at

the pain she had caused Woods’ wife

Elin Nordegren.

She told how Woods had

relentlessly pursued her —

only to dump her when she failed

to make time to meet him for sex.

The attractive blonde’s admission

came as Swede Elin was seen out

for the first time without

her wedding ring.

The missing rings add to increasing

speculation that the 29-year-old is

on the verge of walking away

from her five-year marriage.

Friends said devastated Elin

has consulted with divorce lawyers

and plans to leave after Christmas

with her two young children.

Her mum Barbro has returned to

Sweden and her twin sister Josefin

is back in London after spending

the last ten days with Elin at her

£1.7million home in

Windermere,

Florida.

Barbro arrived back in

Stockholm aboard Woods’

private jet.

Meanwhile,

an investigative reporter in the

US claimed nightclub hostess

Rachel Uchitel has been given

a $5m payoff to buy her silence.

Gerald Posner,

who writes for The Daily Beast

news website,

said Uchitel, 34,

has information that will

kill off Woods’ marriage.

He said she has voicemail or

text messages that are so explosive

Woods is willing to pay millions

to stop them being made public.

Posner said Uchitel,

who has denied having an

affair with Woods,

spoke with Elin on the night of

her husband’s car crash outside

their home.

He claimed:

“Some of the messages

contain expressions of

real affection from Woods –

perhaps even professing

love to her or mentioning

that he was considering

leaving his wife.”

She said Woods told her he was

unhappy in his marriage and

only remained with Elin because

she was pregnant.

Rist revealed:

“He said that he was

not happy at home

with his wife,

that he would stay there

because she was pregnant

and they were expecting

their first child.

“And because of his

reputation and the

image that he has,

he had to uphold that.”

Rist said Woods pursued her

to have an affair and offered

to fly her to California,

Dubai and Australia.

She broke down in tears when

she spoke of the devastating effect

being named as his mistress has

had on her life and her

seven-year-old son.

She said:

“I had to sit down

with my son and

explain to him.

It has been hard.”

“I am ashamed of

what I have done

and feel guilty.”

Rist,

who denied reports that she

was worked as an escort,

said she last heard from

Woods in September.

She added:

“He invited me to go

somewhere and I said no,

and

we kind of had an

argument over the fact

that I don’t make enough

time for him,

and that was it.”

Rist said at the height of their

affair Woods would book her into

a hotel under an assumed name

and make sure she had

an adjoining room.

She said:

“He would just tell me,

this is your room number,

it’s under this name.

“I would go to my room

then he would open

the middle door –

there were two rooms.”

Rist said it was an open secret

that she was seeing Woods and

that his close entourage of friends

made sure the affair

remained undisclosed.

Speaking of their first meeting

in the nightclub in 2006,

Rist said:

“He was just

very comfortable.”

“I think he was not afraid

to show his affection in

front of everybody

that was there.”

“He was very affectionate

and led me by the hand

and we just kind of

disappeared,

and that was the start.”

Rist said she had sex with Woods

over a six month period with the

friendship continuing for

over two years.

She said she now feels sorry

for the hurt she has caused

Woods’ wife Elin.

She added:

“I cannot imagine the

pain she is feeling

right now.”

“I am very sorry

someone has to suffer

the consequences

of my actions.”

Woods has been dumped by

one of his main sponsors,

business consultant Accenture,

as a result of his serial womanizing.

Gillette have scaled back their

marketing campaign featuring
