The first trailer for Star Trek Beyond debuted this week.
The third installment in the revamped franchise is the first not to be directed by J.J. Abrams, who was presumably busy working on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Justin Lin (Fast & Furious) steps into the director’s chair for this one, and the trailer already promises fans a more colorful action-packed film than both 2009’s Star Trek and 2013’s Into Darkness.
