After three drunk driving busts, DAVID CASSIDY is FINALLY getting help for his alcohol problems, The National ENQUIRER has exclusively learned.

The former “Partridge Family” star, 65, has checked into rehab after filing for bankruptcy while facing a nasty divorce.

“He’s trying to get help,” his son, Beau, 24, told The ENQUIRER.

Former teen heartthrob David Cassidy earns $12,500 monthly, but expenses of $27,000 during the same period mean he’s racking up a whopping $174,000 in debt every year, according to a new document filed in the singer’s bankruptcy case.

David Cassidy divorce drama

Multiple reports say DAVID CASSIDY is being divorced by his wife of his 23 years following multiple DWI busts.

Wife #3 Sue Shifrin-Cassidy is said to be is filing for divorce from the former PARTRIDGE FAMILY teen idol later today.

Reportedly, Sue cited the “I Think I Love You” singer’s battle with alcoholism as the reason for their bust-up.

As The ENQUIRER previously reported David, 63, was arrested last month for driving while intoxicated – making three total DWIs across the nation.

His father, actor Jack Cassidy, also suffered from booze addiction and died tragically after he passed out in bed with lit cigarette and set his house ablaze.

David’s manager of the time of his most recent arrest said that Cassidy “was doing very well in sobriety” before contentious lawsuits regarding owed Partridge Family royalties from merchandising supposedly drove him to drink. The couple have one son together, Beau, 23.

His daughter (with model Sherry Williams), Katie Cassidy, 27, stars on the CW hit “Arrow” – ironically as a character battling substance abuse.

David Cassidy busted for his third DUI

Third time’s NOT the charm as boozy DAVID CASSIDY busted again.

If you’re keeping score, Cassidy was arrested for DUI Friday night in Los Angeles. It’s the third such bust in the last three years for the former teen idol, and they took place in three different states!

Cassidy, who lives with his third wife in Fort Lauderdale, was driving in Los Angeles when he was pulled over for making an illegal right turn.

The officer then noted “the odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from the vehicle,” according to a statement from the California Highway Patrol.

The Patridge Family star’s blood alcohol was a startling .19, more than twice the California legal limit.

Cassidy was arrested in November, 2010 in Florida and pleaded “no contest” to a DUI, resulting in his license being suspended for six months.
In August, 2013, he was charged with felony drunk driving in upsate New York. That case is still pending.

Cassidy was released at 9 a.m. Saturday on $15,000 bond.

David Cassidy charged with his 2nd DUI

Authorities say former teen heartthrob David Cassidy was pulled over for failing to dim his headlights in upstate New York and charged with DWI after tests showed his blood-alcohol content at .10, higher than the state’s legal limit of .08.
