Obama lied – whats new?

October 29, 2013

In a blockbuster report on Monday, sources told NBC News that at least half to three quarters of those who buy individual insurance will have that insurance cancelled by their insurers over the next year thanks to changes mandated by Obamacare. A huge number of the people forced off their current insurance will have “sticker shock,” the sources said. What’s more, President Obama knew all that even as he campaigned on the promise that if you liked your insurance, you could keep it: “the administration knew that more than 40 to 67 percent of those in the individual market would not be able to keep their plans, even if they liked them.”

Thousands missing – Mainstream Media fails to cover the story

August 15, 2013

Thousands of activists for immigration reform have gone missing after only four hundred turned up at Wednesday’s rally in Bakersfield, CA outside the office of Republican Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy. Though the SEIU reported that “more than 5,000 people” had boarded buses to the rally, only a few hundred actually emerged in Bakersfield–potentially one of the greatest human tragedies in American history.
The Associated Press offered a figure of 1,500 attendees, citing estimates from Bakersfield police. Those estimates are clearly erroneous, based perhaps on expected rather than actual turnout. A local CBS affiliate reported from Los Angeles on the morning of the rally that “3,900 people” were going to the rally.
If so, thousands were lost on the way. Many vehicles are apparently missing, as well–the CBS affiliate reported that “the largest car and bus caravan in California” had left Dodger Stadium, though an organizer filmed by Breitbart News’ Lee Stranahan that morning only mentioned one truck and several other vehicles.
Yet journalists have failed to follow up on the missing demonstrators.
Of course, the vast majority of those demonstrators did not actually exist.
Earlier in the month, organizers had promised at least 5,000 activists would turn up to the event, which was billed as the climax of “Action August.” Yet Breitbart News’ Lee Stranahan counted roughly 400 demonstrators at the start of the rally, a figure that matched my impression of the rather sparse throng.
If the bussed-in crowd, which included many self-declared illegal immigrants, swelled at all after that point, it did not do so by much, despite the free lunches dished out by union organizers.

Mainstream Media not to be trusted

June 19, 2013

The percentage of Americans saying they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers dropped to 23 percent this year from 25 percent last year, according to a report on the poll, which was released Monday.

American confidence in newspapers reached its peak at 51 percent in 1979, and a low of 22 percent in 2008.

But newspapers don’t stand alone. Confidence in television news has also been slipping — it’s tied with newspapers this year at 23 percent, which is slightly up from last year’s all-time low of 21 percent. Newspapers and television news rank near the bottom of a list of 16 “societal institutions,” according to the report. The only institutions television news and newspapers beat out this year are big business, organized labor, health maintenance organizations and Congress. Americans expressed the most confidence in the military, at 76 percent, and small businesses, at 65 percent.

Obama’s sycophant media ignore four scandals

June 7, 2013

Do not underestimate the psychological shock currently being processed by many members of the mainstream media and the low-to-medium information voters who rely on them for political analysis. To them, the election and re-election of Barack Obama, the first African American to hold the office of President of the United States, was a cause, a fulfillment of heartfelt dreams.

Obama Pimp of The Presstitutes

June 3, 2013

When Gerald Celente branded the American media “presstitutes,” he got it right. The US print and TV media (and NPR) whore for Washington and the corporations. Reporting the real news is their last concern. The presstitutes are a Ministry of Propaganda and Coverup. This is true of the entire Western media, a collection of bought-and-paid-for whores.
It seems that every day I witness a dozen or more examples. Take May 31 for example.
The presstitutes report that US Secretary of State John Kerry and his German counterpart are working on Russia to convince that country to be a “party to peace” in Syria by not supplying the Syrian government, whose country has been invaded, with arms. Kerry and the Israelis especially do not want Russia to deliver the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to Syria.
This was the extent of the presstitutes’ report. The presstitutes made no mention of the fact that the invasion of Syria by al-Qaeda affiliated radical Muslims was organized and equipped by Washington via its proxies in the region, such as Saudia Arabia and the oil emirates. Americans sufficiently stupid to rely on the presstitute media do not know that it is not Syrians who want to overthrow their government, but Washington, Israel, and radical Islamists who object to Syria’s secular non-confrontational government.
One might think that the US media would wonder why Washington prefers to have al-Qaeda governing Syria than a non-confrontational secular government. But such a question is over the heads of the moronic US media, a collection of whores who are glad for whatever money comes their way for whatever lies they are required to tell.
Israel, unlike Washington which so far hides behind proxies, has actually openly committed war crimes as defined by the Nuremberg trials of Nazis by initiating unprovoked aggression against Syria by militarily attacking the country.

ABC News leans Left – who knew?

March 8, 2013

At a shareholder Q&A Wednesday, Disney/ABC CEO Bob Iger met a shareholder unhappy over ABC News’ bias, specifically an attack on the Tea Party that ended up being horribly wrong [emphasis added]:

When it came time for a general Q&A, the first question, judging from the loud mix of positive and negative reaction, was arguably the most controversial — a man complaining about political bias at ABC and ESPN and citing specific examples: Newsman Brian Ross reporting that Dark Knight Rises mass killer James Holmes might be a member of the Tea Party[.] …

Iger acknowledged mistakes but was not specific. “We have, at times, either presented the news in a slightly inaccurate way or in ways we weren’t necessarily proud of,” he said, “but I firmly stand behind our news organizations because I believe that overall the job that they do is one that is worthy of respect.”

Liberal Bullying is cruising for a bruising

February 10, 2013

Ben Shapiro’s new book, Bullies: How The Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America, is a must-read for anyone interested in politics. The book delves into who the real enemy is and how to combat him. American Thinker had the privilege of interviewing Ben Shapiro about his latest book.
Ben wanted to emphasize that the main bullies are the mass media, including those TV show moderators who “are liberals masquerading as moderates. It is important to start recognizing who the real enemy is here. The one conservative who has done it right is Newt Gingrich, who started attacking the reporters.”
Shapiro’s solution is to have conservative representatives go on the talk show circuit and speak out with gusto when it comes to their ideology. They should be polite by thanking their hosts for the opportunity given, but then they should point out in no uncertain terms that since “I am a conservative and you are a liberal, we have two fundamentally different worldviews, and I just want to let the viewers know this.”

Obama worshipping Media is destroying itself

January 21, 2013

On Thursday, while looking wistfully back at Obama’s first four years, NBC News accidentally did some actual reporting. In a First Read article that opened with the question, “Is the nation better off than it was four years ago,” senior political director, Mark Murray, did something that neither he, nor NBC News, nor the mainstream media was willing to do during this last presidential campaign: report on Obama’s record.

But there it finally was: The Truth — and from NBC News, no less. Poverty’s up (from 43.6 million to 46.2 million), middle class incomes are down ($50k compared to $52k), the deficit’s exploded (from $10 trillion to $16 trillion), food stamp recipients have skyrocketed (33.5 million to 46.6 million), unemployment hasn’t budged, and the same number of people are without health insurance today as there were in 2009.

Still, NBC News couldn’t even bring itself to report the most damning Obamanomics numbers: a population so despondent by a lack of jobs that enough people have dropped out to shrink the labor market to levels unseen since the 1980s. A chronic long-term unemployment problem unseen in this country since World War II. An unemployment rate disproportionately savaging blacks and Hispanics.

Where was all this news during the 2012 campaign when Obama was applying for a promotion and Romney was applying to replace him?

We know the answer. Rather than report Truth, the media locked arms and circled Obama’s palace in order to protect him from the mindless hordes of racist, sexist Neanderthals who dared criticize The Lightbringer. The media’s weapons of choice were distraction and lies:

Mainstream Media ignores Obama’s power grabs

December 6, 2012

Keith Koffler says… “President Obama is already busy concocting new power grabs.”
That’s plural: “grabs.”
He wants to remove a portion of the power of the purse from Congress by granting himself the ability to raise the debt ceiling, subject to a two-thirds disapproval vote in Congress, which basically means he can raise it at will. If Bush had tried this, Democrats would be sobbing anguished tears all over the floors of Congress about the imperial presidency.
And the White House, in an unusual interference with congressional procedure, has weighed in with support for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s effort to roll back the filibuster, which currently requires 60 votes to end.
“And where’s the media?” I ask rhetorically.
