LEANN RIMES is putting her career on hold because she’s terrified her marriage is in jeopardy.
The 30-year-old singer, who burst onto the country music scene with the No. 1 hit “Blue” when she was just 13, has only three concerts scheduled for the busy summer touring season – and friends say it’s because she’s afraid to leave her hubby, Eddie Cibrian, home alone.
“Summer is prime time for country singers to go out and play the festival and fair circuits, and LeAnn is giving up a fortune by not touring,” said a friend. “She gets $75,000 a show, so she could easily make $2 million or more this summer. LeAnn is in demand as much as ever, but she turns down almost everything she’s offered.
