USA in 9 year ‘drought’ of Cat Three storms – DARN YOU GLOBAL WARMING!

August 24, 2015

Hurricane Danny fizzles: Why are there fewer big hurricanes?
The US is in a historic hurricane drought, according to NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center. The fading of Hurricane Danny, which peaked as a Category 3 storm over the Atlantic, came as no surprise Saturday.

Do as the Global Elite say, not as they do

January 23, 2015

Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” mocked participants in the 2015 World Economic Forum (WEF) for what he argued was hypocrisy on Thursday.

After reporting that around 1,700 private jets will be used to fly WEF participants to Davos, Switzerland, where the event is held, he asked “can’t you just jetpool, and what’s the topic of discussion this year, that is so important, that nobody could wait for a commercial flight?” After playing a clip of Fox News Channel anchor stating that climate change is one of the major topics, Stewart was incredulous asking “as in ‘can you believe how much climate we changed?’” He similarly mocked the fact that another planned topic of discussion was global inequality.

Weather Channel founder – “Hello, everybody there’s no Global Warming!”

November 2, 2014

Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” Weather Channel co-founder John Coleman tried to break through the left’s attempt to end all debate on global warming saying, “I’m happy that I got on the air and got a chance to talk to your viewers. Hello, everybody! There is no global warming!”
Coleman opened with a defiant tone, “I resent you calling me a denier, that is a word meant to put me down. I’m a skeptic about climate change, not a denier.”
“CNN has taken a very strong position on global warming that it is a consensus. Well there is no consensus in science. Science isn’t a vote. Science is about facts. It has been become a big political point of the Democratic Party and part of their platform, but the science is on my side.” he continued, “But I’m happy that I got on the air and got a chance to talk to your viewers. Hello, everybody! There is no global warming!”
Coleman added he was “terribly disappointed,” that Weather Channel was pushing climate change saying, “The Weather Channel has bought into it, but so has all the media. That’s no big surprise. I created a channel to give people their weather, tell them what the weather is now and what it’s going to be, to serve a real purpose. And that channel has become totally distorted.”

Fear Monger Obama drones about Global Warming

May 6, 2014

Today the Obama administration publishes its latest National Climate Assessment on the state of global warming. The bad news – inevitably – is that the news is very bad: more heat, more extreme weather, more drought, everything worse than ever before.
Fortunately, there’s some good news too: you don’t need to believe a word because, just like the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s reports, this document is much more a political one than a scientific one.
Its purpose is described well in the headline of this Rolling Stone article: Obama’s Last Shot:
“Taking action on climate is one of the most important goals in the president’s second term,” John Podesta, counselor to the president and his point man on climate policy, told me a few weeks ago. “He feels a profound and urgent obligation to get as much done as he can before he leaves office.”
Of course he does but in order to achieve these intrusive, radical, economically-damaging changes – America still being, more or less, a democracy – Obama first needs to make a persuasive case that they are actually necessary. Otherwise, there might be quite a lot of resistance, say, from the coal-producing states (over his ongoing war on fossil fuels); from taxpayers (over all the money being diverted into renewable energy scams like Solyndra); from country dwellers (sick of having their views ruined, their sleep disturbed and their avian wildlife sliced and diced by wind turbines); from the unions (concerned at all the US jobs will be lost if and when the Keystone XL pipeline is nixed); from energy users (over prices raised artificially high by the drive for heavily subsidised renewables); from farmers (subject to increasingly intrusive environmental regulations on how they may and may not use their land); and so on.

Fight back against the Global Warming Nazis

February 26, 2014

It looks like John Kerry’s peace efforts may not garner him a Nobel Prize – so why not try Global Warming?

“The science is unequivocal, and those who refuse to believe it are simply burying their heads in the sand. We don’t have time for a meeting anywhere of the Flat Earth Society. And in a sense, climate change can now be considered another weapon of mass destruction, perhaps the world’s most fearsome weapon of mass destruction.” – John Kerry, in Jakarta on Feb 16, 2014

Schools brainwashing the dumb masses with Global Warming propaganda

January 6, 2014

A recent Wall Street Journal article expressed concern about low math and science standards in the Common Core curriculum, despite President Obama’s frequent speechifying about the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education.
There are many possible explanations for this sorry state of affairs, but one factor that doesn’t add anything positive is the politicization of education, a culmination of fifty years of a “long march through the institutions” by leftists. Humanities and social sciences have been most corrupted, but STEM disciplines are being assaulted by a new agenda promoting “climate education” or “climate literacy.

Global Warming hoax fabricated by The Green Police Fascists

November 12, 2013

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was set up by the United Nations in 1988 and has been trying very hard to demonstrate the threat of a dangerous human influence on climate due to the emission of greenhouse gases. This is in line with their Charter, which directs the IPCC to assemble reports in support of the Global Climate Treaty — the 1992 Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC) of Rio de Janeiro.
It is interesting that IPCC “evidence” was based on peer-reviewed publications – but (reluctantly) abandoned only after protracted critiques from outside scientists. E-mails among members of the IPCC team, revealed in the 2009 ‘Climategate’ leak, describe their strenuous efforts to silence such critiques, often using unethical methods.
I will show here that the first three IPCC assessment reports contain erroneous scientific arguments, which have never been retracted or formally corrected, but at least have now been abandoned by the IPCC — while the last two reports, AR4 and AR5, use an argument that seems to be circular and does not support their conclusion. Australian Prof. “Bob” Carter, marine geologist and paleo-climatologist, refers to IPCC as using “hocus-pocus” science. He is a co-author of the latest (2013) NIPCC (Non-governmental International Panel on Climate Change) report “Climate Change Reconsidered-II” http://www.climatechangereconsidereed.org . We also co-authored a critique of the 2013 IPCC-AR5 Summary
1. IPCC-AR1 (1990)
This first report of the IPCC bases its entire claim for AGW on the fact that both CO2 and surface temperatures increased during the 20th century — although not in lock-step. They assign the major warming of 1910 to 1940 to a human influence — based on a peer-reviewed paper by BD Santer and TML Wigley, which uses a very strange statistical argument. But the basis of their statistics has been critiqued (by Tsonis and Swanson) — and I have demonstrated empirically elsewhere that their conclusion does not hold.
While this faulty paper has never been retracted, it is now no longer quoted as evidence by the IPCC — nor accepted by the overwhelming majority of IPCC scientists: Most if not all warming of the early 20th century is due to natural, not human causes.
2. IPCC AR2 (1996)
This report devotes a whole chapter, #8, to “Attribution and Detection.” Its main feature is what one might call the “invention” of the “Hotspot,” i.e. an enhanced warming trend in the tropical troposphere — never actually observed.
Unfortunately, the “evidence,” as presented by BD Santer, was published only after the IPCC report itself appeared; it contains two fundamental errors. The first error was to argue that the Hotspot is a “fingerprint” of human influence — and specifically, related to an increase in greenhouse gases. This is not true. The Hotspot, according to all model calculations, is simply an atmospheric amplification of a surface trend, a consequence of the physics of the tropical atmosphere.
[Technically speaking, it is caused by increased convective activity whereby cumulus clouds carry latent heat from the surface of the tropical ocean into the upper troposphere. In other words, the Hotspot is not human-caused, but arises from a “moist-adiabatic lapse rate” of the atmosphere. This effect is discussed in most meteorological textbooks and is widely accepted.]
How then did AR2 conclude that a Hotspot exists observationally? This is the second issue: The IPCC selected a short interval in the atmospheric temperature record that showed an increase — while the general trend was one of cooling. In other words, they cherry-picked their data to invent a Hotspot

Al Gore still preaching quasi-religious faith in man caused Global Warming

August 22, 2013

Al Gore was vice president of the United States from 1993-2001. Since leaving politics, he’s been heavily involved in the campaign to fight global warming, even winning a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. And he says he’s more optimistic than ever that the issue has reached “a tipping point.” In this lightly edited interview transcript, he explains why.

Climate Change/Global Warming – Liar Liar Al Gore’s Pants On Fire

March 16, 2013

Green forces, eager to promote their theories of global warming, appear to be practicing intellectual recycling. Is this the return of the notorious hockey stick – which, in 2001, was the central dogma of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) believers ?
This quasi-religious faith in catastrophic AGW still remains a prerequisite for membership in scientific and media elite circles, even in the face of the failure of earlier (model) predictions of apocalypse to manifest, and the admission by an apostle of the faith that for the past 17 years global temperatures have not increased — contrary to the projections of every climate model.
