Lena Dunham feminist hypocrite

January 20, 2014

Within two hours of offering $10,000 for unretouched images from Annie Leibovitz’s photography session with the HBO star, we received six allegedly unaltered images. As expected, they’re great — Lena looks fantastic. Aside from the obvious lighting tweaks that any publication would make, the unretouched images are pretty perfect. Which makes some of the adjustments — slightly narrowing a jaw or raising a waistline — seem that much more unnecessary. Why bother? These slight tweaks, the “you look great, but you’d look just a little more great if…” stuff is insidious.

But this is what Vogue does, and it’s interesting to see what Leibovitz and editor-in-chief Anna Wintour felt that they needed to “fix” before pictures of Lena could be presented to readers.

Libertarian humorist Julie Borowski – 8 VIDEOS

June 17, 2013

Make way, liberal humorists, Julie Borowswki has entered the public arena, and she is hilarious! Borowski’s blog-videos, entitled Token Libertarian Girl, can be found at You Tube and her personal blog.
The Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) recently awarded Borowski its “Best Video Blogger” award. And it is no wonder. While her material can be very persuasive, like her videos on the Boston Marathon bombing and the searches that followed, and the scandals of the Obama administration, her videos can also be very funny, like when she ridiculed Obama voters, and when she complained of her recent treatment at the hands of the TSA.
In this second half of her interview, Borowski discusses her response the Lena Dunham political video calling for young people to vote for President Obama’s re-election, the clichés that liberals inject into political discussions and the current collection of conservative political leaders.

Darling of The Left Lena Dunham notes Memorial Day with unfunny urine joke

May 27, 2013

Memorial Day is a time for all Americans, no matter their party affiliation, to remember the sacrifices and heroism of our troops.
Girls creator Lena Dunham figured the holiday was a grand excuse to uncork a potty joke via social media.
Dunham, who famously recorded that “First Time” video on behalf of the future Scandal in Chief’s re-election, followed up a previous urine-themed Tweet on May 25 with a new one tied to Memorial Day.
