Trump himself denied any intention to crash Beck’s speech Wednesday morning to Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”
“No, I didn’t, but when I walked in I saw that [Beck] was in the podium, and there were thousands of people in the room, not too many listening to him,” Trump said. “He’s not a very good guy to listen to, frankly. He’s boring.”
Trump said “the place went crazy” when he walked in and people rushed to where he stood, leaving Beck behind.
“They all ran away from him … and he was standing up there talking to nobody, and he steamed out of the room,” Trump said. “And I didn’t do it on purpose, but I happened to be there, and … I bet 90 percent of the people in that particular area were with us.”
