Anthony Weiner’s cyber sex sycophant ex·po·sé

July 26, 2013

Anthony Weiner’s online mistress was convicted on drug charges the same year she dropped out of high school, MailOnline can reveal today.

Sydney Leathers, the 23-year-old political wannabe at the center of the mayoral candidate’s latest sexting scandal, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and appeared before Vanderburgh Superior Court, Indiana, in 2008.

She had dropped out of Mt Carmel High School without graduating the previous summer.

And until just three months ago, Leathers was being pursued through the small claims court for close to $2,000 in unpaid medical fees in a case that lasted two years.

Weiner wife Huma Abedin under investigation

July 26, 2013

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IO) has been investigating Abedin’s activities as a paid consultant while she was still working for Clinton toward the end of her tenure. In June, 2012, Abedin changed her employment status at the State Department from being a full time employee with the title of deputy chief of staff to being a “special government employee,” a type of contractor that allowed her to take on private clients in addition to her government job that included Hillary Clinton’s post-State Department transition team, the William J. Clinton Foundation, and Teneo Holdings, a firm run by Clinton confidante Doug Band.

Abedin’s change in employment status was exposed in a June article in Politico, which reported that Abedin and Weiner reported income of $490,000 in calendar year 2012, $360,000 of which represented a combination of both of their consulting incomes.

Grassley has been pressing the State Department and Abedin to answer a slew of questions over the arrangement ever since.

“It appears that Teneo may have been compensating Ms. Abedin for gathering information from government sources for the purpose of informing investment decisions of her clients – or in other words, political intelligence,” Grassley wrote in a June 13 letter. “This raises important questions about whether her dual role was adequately disclosed to government officials who may have provided her information without realizing that she was being paid by private investors to gather information.”

Female Democrats silent on sex scandals involving Democrats

July 25, 2013

Democrats, especially female members, piled on Republicans like Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO), Mitt Romney, and Rush Limbaugh in 2012, accusing them of insensitivity and waging a so-called war on women.
But as even the left-leaning BuzzFeed has observed, female Democrats have largely been silent while the party is dealing with high profile politicians on both coasts who are or have been involved in sex scandals.
The silence among female Democrats is a “a stark contrast with how it sounds when an elected Republican says or does something offensive — then Democratic women speak as one,” BuzzFeed wrote. The article observed that female Democrats have often used salacious behavior by Republicans to try and smear the GOP brand.
In San Diego, mayor Bob Filner has been accused of sexually harassing at least three women, groping them, asking them to “get naked,” and even telling one women to work without “her panties on.” He has refused to resign, and female Democrats are not pressuring him to do so.
“The people will take care of it and I just should stay out,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said, according to BuzzFeed. “I think everybody knows the sensitivity around sexual harassment. It’s very serious and I think men have to learn. He said he’s asked for help. To the extent that he can get help and still be mayor, I don’t know, I can’t comment on that.”
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, “What goes on in San Diego is up to the people of San Diego… my colleagues who do represent San Diego have made their statements on the subject.”
Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) would only go as far to say Filner should “consider” resigning.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) hesitated after saying she was shocked by the news, saying she did not want to “comment further” and, “from what I’ve read in the news, it’s crazy but I don’t know much more than that.”
In New York, former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who seems to show no signs of conquering his sexting addiction, and former Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who had to leave office after he was caught soliciting prostitutes, are running for mayor and comptroller, respectively.
Prominent female Democrats in New York, though, do not not seem outraged by their actions.

Anthony Weiner star of ‘Weinergate’ sequel

July 24, 2013

A 23-year-old political activist was last night revealed as the woman allegedly at the center of Anthony Weiner’s latest sexting scandal – which took place a year after he resigned from office in disgrace.

The woman, identified by Buzzfeed as ‘Sydney Leathers’, was named just hours after she is believed to have released copies of explicit conversations with the disgraced ex-Congressman and pictures of his genitals that she claims he sent her.

Sydney Elaine Leathers is a 23-year-old blogger for the Indiana Progressive Liberals and was a field organizer for Obama’s re-election campaign. She once named Weiner as a political hero online.

Anthony Weiner and wife Huma Abedin made a joint appearance earlier on Tuesday saying that the latest revelations of extra-marital sexual exchanges will not cause him to drop out of the race for New York City Mayor.

Anthony Weiner accepted terror-tainted money

July 21, 2013

(New York Post) Oy! Jewish leaders are kvetching over Anthony Weiner’s accepting campaign cash from a lobbyist for Al Jazeera — Osama bin Laden’s favorite TV network.

City Councilman Lew Fidler (D-Brooklyn), who has endorsed former city Comptroller Bill Thompson’s mayoral bid, called on rival candidate Weiner to return the $4,950 donation to lobbyist John Merrigan.

“Al Jazeera and its lobbyists are no friends to New York City or our Jewish community, and Anthony shouldn’t accept their support,” Fidler said. “They have spread hate and lies against Jews, not only here in New York but across the world. The right thing to do is to give this money back. Anthony should do exactly that.”

Anthony Weiner compares himself to FDR and Mandela

July 8, 2013

Just two years ago, former Rep. Anthony Weiner was forced to resign from Congress after lying to the press and public about tweeting illicit photos of himself. Today, however, he is waging an improbably competitive race for mayor of New York City. Weiner recently spoke to at a high school graduation about “redemption.” According to the New York Times, he invoked the “art of the hero” and compared his own recovery from adversity to that of Nelson Mandela and FDR.
He compared these struggles to a GPS system. “What happens when you make a wrong turn? Does it turn off? No. It simply say ‘recalculating’ and it gets you back on your path,” Weiner told the students. “There is no reason you can’t recalculate and get back on the road to greatness.”
Yes, the “road to greatness.” Let’s recap.
Nelson Mandela was an activist and revolutionary against South Africa’s apartheid regime. He served 27 years of hard-labor in the country’s notorious prison system. He was subjected to abuse throughout his time behind bars. After he emerged from prison, he helped engineer and oversee his nation’s peaceful transition to a multi-racial democracy.
FDR contracted polio towards the beginning of a promising political career. He was just under 40 at the time. In spite of the illness, he went on to serve as Governor of New York and was elected President of the US four times. One of the 20th Century’s more revered Presidents, he also oversaw America’s build-up and successful execution of the Second World War.
Anthony Weiner had inappropriate communications with young women on Twitter and was caught sending lewd pictures of himself. When this was revealed, he spent almost two weeks lying about the incidents to any reporter or crowd who would listen. He also allowed his supporters to spin wild narratives that he was the victim of right-wing bloggers, especially Breitbart News’ founder, Andrew Breitbart.
Hubris, not Twitter, was the cause of Weiner’s downfall. He acted as if the rules didn’t apply to him. He believed he could lie to the public with impunity and, if the lies were repeated enough, escape accountability. He didn’t willingly accept the consequences of his actions. He was forced into it by the accumulation and unbearable weight of his lies.

Anthony Weiner and wife Huma with new baby photos

March 5, 2012

The first pictures have emerged of disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner and his wife with their baby boy.

The happy family was seen walking around the Flatiron neighborhood of New York on Sunday- and stopping in gourmet Italian food seller Eataly- nearly two months after the baby was born.

Jordan Zain Weiner arrived ten days earlier than his expected New Year’s Eve due date, and his parents were said to be thrilled with their ‘sparkling wonder’.

A cheerful Anthony was trying to remain incognito with a New York Mets cap and sunglasses, while Huma looked relaxed and in great shape for having just given birth.
