This is the first footage which has emerged after an Indian fighter jet was scrambled to shoot down a UFO after it set off a radar alert.
The “balloon-shaped” object was hit by the Indian Air Force’s Su-30 after it was spotted close to the country’s border with Pakistan.
Defence minister Manohar Parrikar said: “Our radars picked up a shiny flying object entering Indian airspace.
“A fighter jet was quickly scrambled which intercepted it and shot it down.”
