Tracy Morgan released from hospital
June 21, 2014Actor-comedian Tracy Morgan has been moved from a hospital to a rehabilitation facility as he recovers from a serious auto accident in New Jersey, his spokesman said Friday.
The former star of 30 Rock is showing signs of improvement, but has a long road to full recovery, spokesman Lewis Kay said in an email. Morgan suffered a broken leg and broken ribs in the June 7 accident.
Kay didn’t identify the rehab facility where Morgan is staying, saying only that it is in New Jersey.

As you probably ALREADY KNOW Tracy and a number of his comedy colleagues were on a bus coming home from a gig, when a WALMART TRUCK smashed into them.
The media has been looking for an UPDATE on Tracy’s condition, but so far his close family has been very GUARDED in what they reveal.
But MediaTakeOut.com spoke with person who WORKS at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital – where Tracy is staying. They spoke to MediaTakeOut.com on the condition of anonymity. Here is what they said, “[Tracy] suffered a number of traumatic injuries, the most serious is his leg. It was crushed during the accident. [Doctors] are working hard to save his leg, but it looks like they may have to amputate.”
Wow. We’re told that other than the leg, they expect Tracy to make a full recovery. At least we got SOME good news to report.

June 9, 2014“While Tracy remains in critical condition, he has been more responsive today, which is an incredibly encouraging sign,” publicist Lewis Kay said in a statement. “He sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg.”
