How George Washington’s elite Iron Men unit changed History

July 4, 2017

Washington’s Immortals tells the story of a heroic regiment that saved the Continental Army from destruction at the Battle of Brooklyn by holding the British at bay. Despite the pivotal importance of their sacrifice, the regimental dead are buried in a mass grave with only the most minimal markings, their story largely unknown to the modern public

Obama targets Charleston Church murders to ramrod more Gun Control laws

June 18, 2015

An emotional President Obama delivered a personal statement in the White House press briefing this afternoon in reaction to the shooting at a church in South Carolina.

“I’ve had to make statements like this too many times,” he said, adding that although law enforcement officials did not have all the facts, he thinks it was obvious that “someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.”

CIA and U.S. military involvement in the use of biological pathogens as weapons is well documented. But surely the creators of The Walking Dead are just conspiracy theorists.

Gun Control made Britain the most violent country in Europe

September 25, 2014

Gun control in Britain passed in stages, beginning just after World War I and continuing in a reactionary fashion with increasing strictness through the 1990s.
When the final stage arrived in 1997, and virtually all handguns were banned via the Firearms Act, the promise was a reduction in crime and greater safety for the British people. But the result was the emergence of Britain as the “most violent country in Europe.”
Britain began placing restrictions on gun ownership after World War I with the Firearms Act of 1920. The passage of this act was emotionally driven, based in part on the public’s war-weariness and in part on the fear that an increased number of guns–guns from the battle field–would increase crime.
The Firearms Act of 1920 did not ban guns. Rather, it required that citizens who wanted a gun had to first obtain a certificate from the government. We see this same stage taking place in various places in the United States now, where a person who wants a firearm has to get a Fire Owner Identification Card (Illinois) or has to be vetted by police (Massachusetts) or both.
Thirteen years after the passage of the Firearms Act, British Parliament passed the Firearms and Imitation Firearms Bill, making the possession of a replica gun or a real one equally punishable unless the owner of either could show the lawful purpose for which he had it. (Sounds like California?) This was followed by the Firearms Act of 1937, which author Frank Miniter says “extended restrictions to shotguns and granted chief constables the power to add conditions to individual private firearm certificates.”
In the U.S., police departments in Massachusetts play the role Britain’s chief constables played and have final say on who can or can’t own a firearm. On July 25, Breitbart News reported that that Massachusetts police were pressing for “sole discretion” on who could own a long gun; they already had such discretion over who could own a handgun. On August 1, they received the power they sought.
Britain continued to issue firearm certificates as World War II set in. But by the time the war was over, the gun control mindset had permeated society to a point where self-defense was no longer a valid reason to secure a certificate for gun ownership.
Guns were simply for sport or for hunting.
In 1987, Michael Ryan shot and killed sixteen people in Hungerford, including his mother. He wounded fourteen others, then killed himself. According to the Library of Congress, Ryan used “lawfully owned” rifles to carry out the attack. Nevertheless, his attack prompted the passage of more laws in the form of the Firearms Act of 1988. This act “banned the possession of high-powered self loading rifles” and “burst-firing weapons,” and imposed “stricter standards for ownership” to secure a government certificate to own a shotgun.
In 1996, Thomas Hamilton walked into an elementary school in Dunblane, Scotland, and shot and killed “sixteen small children…and their teacher in the gym before killing himself.” He brought two rifles and four handguns to carry out the attack. All six guns were legally owned: Hamilton had fully complied with gun control statutes.
The Firearm Act of 1997 was passed while emotions ran high. Gun control proponents push for an all-out ban on private gun ownership, in the much the same way that Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) reacted to the heinous crime at Sandy Hook Elementary by trying to ban approximately 150 different guns.

Black Racism is Politically Correct

I’m amazed at how openly racist black Liberals have become, and how few non-blacks are willing to call them out on it.

Ann Coulter remarks about rape outrage Democrats

May 9, 2014

Conservative firebrand Ann Coulter told Sean Hannity on Thursday that Democrats are “against rape unless it’s committed by a Clinton or a Kennedy.”

Coulter’s explosive remarks came as she criticized Monica Lewinksy’s recent “Vanity Fair” essay about her relationship with former President Bill Clinton.

“She shows just an utter lack of personal responsibility,” Coulter said.

Hannity and Coulter both agreed that the Clinton administration attacked all women who came forward and claimed they were engaged in sexual activity with Bill Clinton. One woman, Juanita Broaddrick actually accused Clinton of raping her in the 1970s.

“They’re against rape unless it’s committed by a Clinton or a Kennedy,” Coulter said of the Democrats.

Arapahoe High School shooter was a liberal Socialist who hated Republicans

December 16, 2013

The Southern Poverty Law Center and other liberal groups and media outlets are often quick to place blame on tea party, patriot-aligned and other right-of-center groups when describing the beliefs of a gunman who carries out or attempts a mass shooting. Infowars reported that SPLC drove a narrative that attempted to paint the LAX shooter, Paul Ciancia as a paranoid New World Order and Federal Reserve conspiracist.

We’re guessing we won’t hear any reports or narratives from the SPLC on the Colorado gunmen who injured two students and eventually turned the gun on himself at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado on Friday.

That may be because the student, Karl Halverson Pierson, was reportedly a “very opinionated socialist” according to a report. A student who attended class with Pierson described him as having “strong beliefs about gun laws.” Other students believed that Pierson held political views that we’re “outside the mainstream.”

Obama’s backdoor gun control

December 9, 2013

Think of how the Left would react if a conservative accused President Obama of chewing too much lead? We would never hear the end of it. Racists! Nutjobs! Yada yada. Yet Obama plagiarizes speeches… when his teleprompter is working, that is. He is unintelligible otherwise – so maybe we should blame the teleprompter? He is a serial liar to boot, as his horrified followers are just now discovering with Obamacare.
And that is the entire point. Given the virtually nonstop criminal shenanigans of this lawless administration, and Obama’s proclaimed determination to use “executive action” to impose gun control; given the EPA’s unconstitutional regulatory edicts that are destroying the coal industry and terrorizing others, and the former EPA director’s efforts to evade disclosure by using secret emails; given the administration’s relentless efforts to shut down the Keystone pipeline and its other unethical, unconstitutional, criminal behavior, one would be foolish NOT to assume a malevolent motive in almost everything they do.
Doe Run has been wrangling with the EPA since 2003, and the Left blubbers over the fact that these problems predated the Obama administration. The straw that broke the camel’s back was a ten-fold increase in EPA regulatory restrictions that would cost Doe Run $100 million to satisfy. According to the Blaze, these regulations were announced in 2008, before Obama took office, but Doe Run’s settlement with the EPA was not announced until 2010. With all the other misinformation this administration produces, one might be forgiven for missing that detail.
This lead smelter is indeed the only primary smelter in the U.S. Ammo manufacturers, however, usually use recycled lead produced by secondary smelters. These will remain in operation. Still, according to Doe Run spokesperson Tammy Stankey, closing the Herculaneum plant is likely to have a significant impact on price for all lead-based products. This is borne out by the numbers. The Herculaneum plant produces about 130,000 tons of lead per year, according to the company. Total U.S. lead production for the past five years, including primary and recycled sources, averaged about 1.3 million tons per year, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. This supplied almost all of the 1.4 million ton annual domestic demand.
Closing the Herculaneum plant will reduce domestic supply by approximately 10 percent, necessitating substantial increases in more expensive imported lead. Furthermore, whatever environmental shortcomings existed at the Doe Run plant, you can be sure that the replacement imported lead will come from a much dirtier foreign facility. So congratulations, EPA! Once again you have driven a domestic company out of business, costing American jobs in the process, only to add to the world’s net toxic pollution load. This seems to be one thing the Obama administration excels at.
But never mind. Our motives are good. We have gotten rid of that bad old poisonous lead and we’ll just keep tightening the screws until it’s all gone. Then there really will be an ammo shortage. Whatever the EPA’s motives, we can be sure that Obama and Co. are smiling just about now.
