May 24, 2013Amanda Bynes’ saga of self- destruction has finally made it to Broadway.
The train-wreck former TV star was hit with a felony rap last night after a wild encounter with police in which she hurled a bong from a window of her 34th-floor apartment on West 47th Street near Times Square.
Cops were called when the building superintendent complained she was puffing on the pipe in the lobby, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
The 27-year-old actress allegedly hurled the bong at about 7:40 p.m. while the officers interviewed her, the sources said. It didn’t hit anyone.

Bynes faces a felony count of tampering with evidence, along with charges of reckless endangerment and marijuana possession, sources said.
She was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for psychiatric observation before going to the Midtown North station house.

September 18, 2012Amanda Bynes can’t seem to catch a break lately, though a stint in rehab may just force her to.
The former Nickelodeon star has found herself back in the media spotlight more than two years after she declared her retirement from (and later return to) acting in 2010.
And, sources tell RumorFix.com, the actress has decided that rehab may just be the best way to get some much-needed help.
According to the source, Bynes, 26, has committed to doing a 30-day in-patient program at an undisclosed Southern California center and will check in either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
The troubled starlet, who had her car impounded Sunday after she was cited for driving with a suspended license, could possibly escape jail time for previous DUI and hit-and-run charges if she goes to treatment, the site reports.
A rep for Bynes has yet to respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
Last month, the former “All That” cast member lost her driving privileges on Aug. 25 following a DUI arrest in April and two alleged hit-and-run cases in April and August.
