Alyson Hannigan wins restraining order against online stalker
February 15, 2013Alyson Hanningan has been granted a temporary restraining order against an online stalker who threatened to rape and kill her.
The actress claimed she was in ‘severe fear for my safety and the safety of my family’ as she petitioned the courts for the order after receiving a ‘barrage of threatening messages’.
A judge granted the order on Wednesday requiring John Hobbs, 43, to stay away from the How I Met Your Mother actress and her family.
