15 Media outlets that romanticized amoral North Korea

February 14, 2018

Now that normal Americans have completely written off the disgraced institution of the American media, these amoral news outlets have been forced to pander to the only audience they have left — the far-left.
This is why, over the weekend, we witnessed almost every major news outlet prostitute itself to offer North Korea’s Hitler the kind of positive press coverage President Trump would never receive, even if he rescued our economy and decimated the Islamic State (oh, wait, he did).

Establishment Media wins Gold Medal for glamorizing North Korean Gulag Queen

February 13, 2018

There’s a new competitive sport at this year’s Winter Olympics in South Korea. Its participants are members of the establishment media. Their aim: to suck up to the despotic regime in North Korea. The gold medal goes to the most ingratiating and morally obtuse totalitarian ass-kisser. And though the games have just begun, I think I know who the winner is.

6 time Olympian Kimberly Rhode – Her story ignored due to Political Correctness

September 1, 2016

But our champion didn’t even get a Bob Costas interview. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t wish a Bob Costas interview on anyone, but as the principal commentator on NBC, the network that paid $1.23 billion for broadcast rights, you would think Costas could take two minutes to say, “Hey, nice work. Six medals in six Olympics. The only woman to ever come close to that. Mind-blowing.” Instead you had to go to the NBC YouTube channel, or the NBC website, or catch the 15-second wrap-up at the end of the day. The BBC did a better job of covering the event and Great Britain didn’t even have anyone in the finals.

February 11, 2014

A Russian speed skater thrilled spectators at the Sochi Olympics when she unzipped her racing suit down to the bellybutton, forgetting she was wearing nothing underneath.

Olga Graf had already given the home fans a reason to cheer after winning Russia’s first medal when she took a surprising bronze in the women’s 3,000 meters yesterday.

The 30-year-old was celebrating with a warm down lap when without thinking she unzipped her skin-tight suit risking an extremely embarrassing situation.

Majority of Western journalists in Sochi preoccupied with nothing but economic issues

February 10, 2014

Never before have the talks about the upcoming Olympics been so far away from sports and athletes. This is not surprising at all, given that the majority of Western journalists accredited for the Olympic Games in 2014, are preoccupied with nothing but economic issues. They count stray dogs, inspect lawns, hotels and other facilities. Are there Olympic or Economic Games in Sochi?

British snowboarders take viewing public on a thrilling ride

February 10, 2014

For a few blissful moments, Jamie Nicholls thought he was about to present Britain with their first medal of these Winter Olympics – in the very first event.

But while the 20-year-old from Halifax eventually found himself edged off the podium at the end of a spectacular snowboard slopestyle competition here on Saturday, his joy at his performance was simply too infectious to ignore.

His first run had left him occupying the silver medal position in an event borrowed from American TV’s X-Games in a bid by the Olympics to widen their appeal and capture a younger audience.

Chinese President Xi Jinping talks with athletes of the Chinese Winter Olympics

February 9, 2014

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping met here Friday with his country’s delegation to the 22nd Winter Olympic Games and gave a boost to the athletes’ morale.

“The Chinese people are paying great attention to you,” he told the delegates, noting that they traveled a long journey to this Russian resort city for the event during the Spring Festival.

Sitting down with the athletes and coaches, the president said he came here to boost their morale in person and learn about their preparations for the upcoming games.

Vancouver Winter Olympics silver medalist Tong Jian, short-track speed skating coach Li Yan and other representatives briefed Xi on their training and preparations.

They told the president that the outstanding achievements they have scored result from the nation’s cultivation, the virtues of dedication and fortitude, and scientific and diligent training.

China, Xi said, has made significant progress in sports over the past years, realizing breakthroughs in some winter sports, but still lags behind in some others.

By successfully hosting the Beijing Olympic Games, the Chinese people have realized their Olympic dream, the president said, while calling for continued efforts to make China a strong sports power.

Pointing out that China has never been closer to realizing the goal of the nation’s great renewal, Xi said every individual’s dream and the national dream of becoming a strong sports power are closely linked with the Chinese dream.

Xi wished the athletes success at the games, but added that good results are not reflected merely in the number of medals, but more in the Olympic spirit they demonstrate by constantly improving and excelling themselves.
