The school you claim is John Humphries old school is NOT John Humphries old school. John Humphries old school (Cardiff High School for Boys in Newport Road) CLOSED IN 1970.
The school you refer to was actually a lower middle class SECONDARY- MODERN called TY Celyn and today would never allow a kid from Splott (where John Humphries came from) in.
