Denise Katrina Matthews, aka Vanity, dead at 57

February 16, 2016

Last year she told Rolling Stone:

“I was young and irresponsible, a silly woman laden with sin, not caring for anything except fame and fortune and self,” she tells Rolling Stone. “But I have lived seeking truth in Jesus Christ and found it has made me free.

Bernie’s brainwashing propaganda

February 16, 2016

Bernie Sanders is a nice, avuncular character who seems to be harmless enough — a nostalgic throwback to another era — but his espousal of socialism, “democratic” though it may be, misleads an entire generation of American youth who have absolutely no idea of the economic or social ramifications of the senator’s ideology.

Elites vs. Everyone Else – Last Chance to save Freedom

February 16, 2016

There is an unquestioned disconnect between the vast majority of the American people and the so-called elites or ruling class. Whenever I am in the company of those that are members of this exclusive fraternity, and when the conversation inevitably turns to the subject of the irascible mood of the electorate, I offer what I consider to be a valid theory as to one of the primary reasons why. That is: a plurality of the populace, myself included, firmly believe the United States is approaching the point of no return to its founding as a nation of individual freedom and opportunity, and that the 2016 election is the most significant in 150 years insofar as determining the long term fate of the country.

Ghostly figure captured on camera

February 16, 2016

A GHOSTLY ‘figure of a lady’ has been caught on camera in a library – with locals believing the spirit was seeking to avenge the sale of the 100-year-old property.

In a bid to stop it being sold to private investors, campaigners had secured a six-month lease for Stafford’s Old Library, hoping to showcase the property’s potential as a public building.

Campaign group Friends of the Old Library want to raise £650,000 to save the building – currently in a state of disrepair – from becoming a restaurant after it was put up for sale last June.

Hillary squelches more scandals than Olivia Pope

February 16, 2016

Welcome to the 2016 version of Clinton Scandal Fatigue — and it’s setting in even with Hillary nowhere near winning the White House, yet.

Bernie Sanders and Democratic debate moderators aren’t asking Clinton any questions about her private server or her family foundation. But they’re sure interested in her closed-door speeches to Wall Street groups — which Sanders rightly suggests show she’s a hypocrite.

And the shoes keep dropping on all these fronts. How beat-up is she going to be come November?

“We need a Warren Commission-like federal investigation” – Michael Savage

February 16, 2016

With confirmation that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead Saturday morning with a pillow over his head and his clothes unwrinkled, nationally syndicated talk-radio host Michael Savage called for an investigation on the level of the presidentially appointed probe into President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963.

“Was [Scalia] murdered?” Savage asked his listeners.

“We need a Warren Commission-like federal investigation,” he said. “This is serious business.”

Nissan’s Intelligent Chair – may drop you down an elevator shaft during The Robot Revolt

February 16, 2016

You’d think Nissan’s next invention would be car related, but it’s not, it’s a chair.

The carmaker has created an “Intelligent Parking Chair” that could automatically find its own way to the desk and push itself in—or park. Nissan was inspired by the technology that is used for self-parking cars.

The product demo shows people at an office clapping at the chairs in order to activate and go park themselves at their designated desks.

Plus-size model Ashley Graham will make history Monday when she becomes the first size-16 model to cover Sports Illustrated magazine’s vaunted “Swimsuit Issue.”

For the first time in its 52-year history, the magazine will release three separate covers for its 2016 swimsuit edition, featuring three different women: Graham, MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, and previous SI swimsuit model Hailey Clauson. The magazine revealed its cover choices during a TNT special on Saturday night.
