Obama has destroyed his Mojo

June 5, 2014

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time. One pen-and-phone executive action driving the stubborn VA scandal out of the limelight, welcoming home an American held captive by our enemies. The vanquisher of Osama bin Laden now bringing home the last prisoner of war. The optics would be great: sharing the Rose Garden spotlight with grateful parents, and a hero’s welcome from small town, USA in rustic Idaho. And as a bonus, Gitmo would get 5 very troublesome inmates closer to empty. He would cap the week in which he announced the pullout from Afghanistan with a triumphal return.

But the exchange of Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban kingpins hasn’t worked out as planned. A firestorm of criticism has erupted, with Bergdahl’s former comrades in arms proclaiming him a deserter, Congress upset that it was not informed of the transfer of Gitmo prisoners as required by a law Obama himself signed, and Susan Rice once again playing the role of Sunday show stand up gal, maintaining Bergdahl served with “honor and distinction,” only to have a court martial for desertion come into discussion at the highest level of the military.

How could the president, proclaimed by presidential historian Michael Beschloss the smartest man with the highest IQ ever elected to the presidency, misread the situation so badly? Several reasons suggest themselves.

Asked whether the Taliban would be inspired by the exchange to kidnap others, a commander laughed. “Definitely.”

Taliban Commander: More Kidnappings to Come After Bergdahl Deal
Where Bowe Bergdahl Goes From Here
In the days and hours leading up to the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl last week, his Taliban captors in Pakistan prepared for a big sendoff. Those selected to physically hand Bergdahl over to U.S. officials at a pre-arranged location on the other side of the border in Afghanistan rehearsed the messages they wanted to convey to the American people. A videographer was assigned to cover the event, for propaganda purposes. And those closest to Bergdahl commissioned a local tailor to make him a set of the local tunic and trousers in white, which, given as a gift, denotes a gesture of respect.

“You know we are also human beings and have hearts in our bodies,” a senior Taliban commander affiliated with the Haqqani network, which was holding Bergdahl captive, tells TIME. “We are fighting a war against each other, in which [the Americans] kill us and we kill them. But we did whatever we could to make [Bergdahl] happy.”

Justin Bieber ‘jokes’ about joining the Ku Klux Klan – VIDEO

June 5, 2014

Justin Bieber has apologised a second time for video footage showing him making racist remarks.

He was forced to make his latest apology after a second video emerged showing Bieber singing his hit song One Less Lonely Girl, but changing the final words to ‘lonely n*****’.

The singer, who fans branded ‘an arrogant little twerp’ over the footage, also uses sick lyrics about killing black people and joining the Ku Klux Klan.

Liberal Lefties are Racist

June 5, 2014

Third is the liberal and left-wing advocacy of lowering standards for blacks – what is known as affirmative action. How is it not plain as daylight that whites (and other non-blacks) who argue for the continued lowering of standards for blacks have a low view of blacks? White liberals never advocate lowering professional or academic standards for, let us say, Asian immigrants who recently arrived in America, often without money or any knowledge of English.

2014 Memorial Day racial violence vastly ignored by the mainstream Media

June 5, 2014

I have to apologize to the readers of American Thinker. Last week, I wrote about more than a dozen episodes of black mob violence around the country over the Memorial Day weekend.

Turns out I was wrong: I missed at least three examples of large-scale racial violence. Or 300 depending on how you count.

So let’s see if we can make up for these grievous errors of omission, starting in Chicago.
