If you follow the logic of Al Sharpton, black people must live in crime-free neighborhoods. I know that news is shocking, given the statistics that prove otherwise. We are told that black communities have the highest crime rates, but that these stats are demagogued to make black people look bad.

August 7, 2013Organized labor has allied itself with groups that aim to destroy the very businesses that employ its workers and pay for the governments that employ its workers. I speak here, of course, of the environmentalists, who are typically anti-development to the core. Despite the fact that most union members are in favor of projects such as the Keystone XL pipeline and fracking in upstate New York, which would create hundreds of thousands of high-wage blue-collar jobs, the environmentalists have successfully blocked those projects.

August 7, 2013The Obama scandals uniquely strike at the heart of American democracy, based as they are on Obama’s attempt to transform the nation to reflect his Augustan image of himself.
The scandals have not yet had the impact they should, due largely to media manipulation, public inertia, and serious fumbling among Republicans and conservatives — for instance, Darryl Issa allowing the odious Lois Lerner 5th Amendment protection she was not entitled to.
The only solution is to continue the pressure. Watergate required nearly eighteen months of simmering before it boiled over. The same is likely to be true here. This leads us to the question as to why one of the most potentially fertile fields for administration scandal, the Obama czars, has been so far overlooked.
Katie ‘Cougar’ Couric after Jennifer Anniston’s man?

The claws came out on July 31, when Jennifer appeared on her pal Chelsea Handler’s talk show. Turns out Katie – who now has her own syndicated gabfest — had also been a guest on Chelsea’s show and prodded her to reveal some of Jen’s most safely guarded secrets.
When Chelsea starting telling Jen about it, the former “Friends” star slighted Couric, and Handler threw in her own little dig. Pals say that Jen also thinks cougar Katie may have ulterior reasons for probing into her life.
Ironically, Jennifer’s feud with Katie comes at one of the happiest times in her life. Her romance with fiancé Justin Theroux is going so well that she recently said she felt as though they are already married. And all Hollywood was abuzz with pregnancy rumors when she was spotted out and about with what looked like a baby bump.
Her reps have since denied that she’s pregnant, but a source said: “Jennifer has a lot to protect right now, and the last thing she wants is for Katie to ruin her happiness.”
