Nicole Scherzinger’s Mum on Nicole’s fashions; “she still calls me and scolds me”

March 10, 2013

NICOLE SCHERZINGER is expecting an earful when she makes her Mother’s Day call.
Her religious mum Rosemary Elikolani still gets infuriated when she sees her daughter scantily dressed in photoshoots and music videos.

The singer’s mother also spies on her using Google — and ticks her off about any revealing outfits.

Former PUSSYCAT DOLL Nicole said: “I’m thirtysomething but she still calls me and scolds me.

“She says, ‘I always tell you to not compromise yourself, Nicole’.

“She sees me as the highest daughter. She’s very spiritual. She keeps me grounded. She’s my rock.

Ouija Board qui peut faire du mal

March 10, 2013

This is the first of only two experiences I have ever had, at least that I can recall, that made me think there is truth to the spirit world. More than just a “feeling”, dream or thought.

I was 13 years old, living in a cute little 2 story townhome with my mom and 15-year-old sister. My sister’s room was on the main floor, immediately to the left of the front door. It was after school one day and my sister and her friend had purchased a “Milton Bradley” Ouija board. I had never heard of such a thing, but it came in a game type box and was made by a company well known for their games so I figured, after hearing the girls say what it was about, that it was a weird sort of game but, being the typical younger sister and wanting to be involved in everything her and her friends did, I would partake.

America’s heart needs CPR

March 10, 2013

We’ve all heard the story about the elderly lady who died on the floor of a California senior care facility while a qualified medical person stood callously by, refusing to administer CPR in an attempt to save her life.

The decision to let her lie there and die on the floor was prompted by fear, fear of being fired or otherwise hounded by greedy, straw grasping lawyers who see lawsuits in every exploitable situation, no matter how heartless, frivolous or inhuman they happen to be.

Has the human race in general, and the United States of America specifically, sunk to the point that government regulations and out of control lawyers have taken the place of respect for humanity, that even people who have been educated for the purpose of saving and improving life are so afraid they can watch it ebb away and not even raise a hand to save it.

Obama shuts down public tours at the White House

March 10, 2013

President Barack Obama and Michelle used to talk frequently about how the White House was the “people’s house.” In fact, the White House website now carries this quote from the First Lady: “It’s the ‘People’s House.’ It’s a place that is steeped in history, but it’s also a place where everyone should feel welcome. And that’s why my husband and I have made it our mission to open up the house to as many people as we can.”
So much for that nonsense. The same week that President Obama’s administration announced that due to sequestration, White House tours would be cancelled, sources at the White House announced that it would be hosting megastars Adele and Beyonce at Michelle’s 50th birthday party next year. “America’s First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked them both to sing,” the source told the UK Daily Mail. The source did say that “The Obamas will pay Adele’s expenses as it’s a private party, not a State one.”
But will they pay all the expenses of the party? Security arrangements? Food? Cleanup? White House parties are expensive affairs.
It’s obvious that the White House’s priorities don’t lie with the people. They lie with the personal party predilections of the Obamas.
While the Secret Service protection during White House tours costs some $74,000 per week – the cost the White House brags it is saving on the cancelled tours — Air Force One costs $175,750 per flight hour, not including pilots, airmen, and Secret Service. (Some sources say the cost for the tours is $18,000 per week.) Obama has taken several pricey jaunts to locations including, most recently, Florida in the past few months. And those parties at the White House? They certainly cost a fair bit of money, but we’ll never hear how much; as the Washington Post put it back in 2012, “getting a straight answer about the cost of any White House party is almost impossible.”
There is little chance that the taxpayers will not foot some of the expense of Mrs. Obama’s magical 50th. And there is no chance that the “people’s house” will be open to the “people” nearly as much as it is to the Obamas’ celebrity superfriends in coming weeks.

Spoiled Brats grow old but not up

March 10, 2013

A new analysis of the American Freshman Survey, which has accumulated data for the past 47 years from 9 million young adults, reveals that college students are more likely than ever to call themselves gifted and driven to succeed, even though their test scores and time spent studying are decreasing.

Psychologist Jean Twenge, the lead author of the analysis, is also the author of a study showing that the tendency toward narcissism in students is up 30 percent in the last thirty-odd years.
These data are not unexpected. I have been writing a great deal over the past few years about the toxic psychological impact of media and technology on children, adolescents and young adults, particularly as it regards turning them into faux celebrities—the equivalent of lead actors in their own fictionalized life stories.

Kris Humphries’ family finally talks about the Kardashian so called marriage to their son

Their wedding famously lasted just 72 days and while Kim Kardashian has well and truly moved on and is pregnant with another man’s baby, she is still not divorced from Kris Humphries.

But it seems Kris is after more than just a divorce – he wants their wedding to be completely quashed by getting an annulment.

Opening up for the first time since the quickie wedding, Kris’s family have warned that he is after an annulment because he believes the wedding was a ploy to help boost the ratings of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
