Black Dahlia murder case new clue

A former LAPD detective who believes his father killed the Black Dahlia believes a cadaver dog’s search of his old Hollywood home has turned up the scent of the woman who was killed 66 years ago.

The shocking murder of Elizabeth Short, known as the Black Dahlia, is one of the oldest unsolved murder cases in Los Angeles history.

On Jan. 15, 1947, Short’s severely mutilated body was discovered in a vacant lot near the intersection of 39th Street and Norton Avenue in South Los Angeles.

‘Star Trek – Into Darkness’ mini-trailer during the Super Bowl

A new Star Trek Into Darkness trailer featuring mysterious footage from the film was aired as a Super Bowl commercial and ran during the big game’s pre-game show.

The spot focused on the film’s still unnamed villain, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.

In the 33-second commercial cum trailer, his character has been captured and is being questioned by Chris Pine, who plays the unflappable Captain Kirk.

Iron Man fans were in for a treat on Super Bowl Sunday as a teaser trailer for the film aired during the big game.

And at the same time, an extended commercial was posted on the official Facebook page for the movie.

The trailer is just over a minute and a half long but an entire 30 seconds of it is made up of Robert Downey, Jr. simply staring off-camera.

As Twitchy reported earlier today, the White House issued the photo with the stern warning that it “may not be manipulated in any way.” Some of these are just captions, though, and the rest aren’t manipulations, but rather a process left over from the Bush era called “enhancement.”
