Lindsay Lohan may be headed to the Mental Ward

December 12, 2012

The ENQUIRER reports in exclusive cover story that LINDSAY LOHAN is more than GONE – she’s FAR gone and may be heading for the last round-up.

Lindsay Lohan continued her downward spiral of self-destructive behavior when she was busted for allegedly slugging another woman in a New York hotspot – and now pals of the troubled actress are saying there is only one thing that can save her!

In the latest issue of The ENQUIRER, we reveal the drastic steps that those close to Lindsay, 26, say she needs to take or risk becoming another Hollywood tragedy.

‘The problem is that she surrounds herself with users and ‘yes’ people, including her own mother,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “They’re nothing but phonies and takers – and they’re letting her run wild!”

Disturbingly, the latest arrest of the “Mean Girls” star came after sources claim she’d been guzzling up to two bottles of vodka a day.

Adding to her problems, Lindsay – who already has a long rap sheet — is facing jail time for allegedly lying to police about an L.A. car crash in June.

‘Django Unchained’ movie trailer and review

December 12, 2012

Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio star in Quentin Tarantino’s revenge saga mostly set in the Deep South just before the Civil War.

History gets another dramatic rewrite, Quentin Tarantino-style, in Django Unchained, a jokey, discursive, idiosyncratic and spirited film that does to slave owners what Inglourious Basterds did to Nazis.

Obama’s Brownshirts demand their way or “there will be blood”

December 12, 2012

President Barack Obama owes conservative Steven Crowder–and the nation–an apology after union thugs, angered by right-to-work laws passed by the Michigan legislature today, assaulted Crowder several times in the capital city of Lansing, causing mild injuries. One also threatened to shoot Crowder (see video below).
The man in the image above, who punched Crowder several times, should be identified and reported to police immediately, as should the man in the image below, who grabbed Crowder from behind.

“Don’t say ‘tax the Rich…Say ‘Tax the Successful'”

December 12, 2012

Adam Carolla wants to set the record straight.
The broadcaster who once boastfully told “Loveline” listeners he was “literally” a millionaire isn’t rich. He’s successful. There’s a difference, and it’s one lost in the current debate over Democrats trying to increase taxes on the wealthiest Americans. Carolla shared his thoughts on the matter with “The O’Reilly Factor” viewers last night.
Well, first off, we should stop saying, “tax the rich,” and say, “tax the successful.” Because I’m not rich, I’m successful. And rich is easy to tax because that’s just the guy who inherited daddy’s money, whose dad was the Monopoly man and he lives up on the hill.
I’m successful, you’re successful because we worked our tails off. And it’s harder to take money away from people that work very hard for it.
And it’s very easy to say, “Tax the rich.” But, really, it should be “Tax the successful.”

Rising star Jenni Rivera dead at 43

December 12, 2012

Mexico’s music world mourned Jenni Rivera, the U.S.-born singer presumed killed in a plane crash whose soulful voice and openness about her personal troubles had made her a Mexican-American superstar.

Authorities have not confirmed her death, but Rivera’s relatives in the U.S. say they have few doubts that she was on the Learjet 25 that disintegrated on impact Sunday in rugged territory in Nuevo Leon state in northern Mexico.

“My son Lupillo told me that effectively it was Jenni’s plane that crashed and that everyone on board died,” her father, Pedro Rivera, told dozens of reporters gathered in front of his Los Angeles-area home. “I believe my daughter’s body is unrecognizable.”

Sitar legend Ravi Shankar dead at 92

December 12, 2012

In 1968, the celebrated Indian musician Ravi Shankar performed for six days in Manhattan, bringing his virtuosity on the sitar to a New York audience. That year, this magazine’s reviewer wrote that the sheen of celebrity that the musician’s association with The Beatles had created was starting to fade. In hindsight, that assessment is debatable; Shankar went on to perform at Woodstock and a globally influential career. What was never in question was the musician’s uncanny gift for forging connections with audiences and music lovers around the world. “It is utter joy, uninhibited, that an artist experiences,” Shankar told TIME, describing the transcendence of performing. “The raga, the musician, the listeners, all become one.”

The Nazi Connection to Islamic Fascism

December 12, 2012

Many people buy into the premise that the World Trade Center attack on September 11 was a result of some misguided foreign policy of the United States. Others believe that Islamist terror attacks began in the 1970s, 1980s or 1990s as a result of something that we, as a country, have done to provoke such an attack.
When confronting an enemy it is helpful to know what it is that drives him. The U.S. and the West need to realistically look at the true motives of Islamic terrorists in order to properly confront them. I will show that Islamic Jihad is not motivated by any specific policies of the U.S. or the West, but instead is principally motivated by a fanatic, obsessive hatred of Jews, and that Islamic Jihad was, and continues to be, strongly influenced by the Nazis.
Despite common misconceptions, modern Islamic Fascism was not born during the 1960s, but during the 1930s. Its rise was not inspired by the failure of Nasserism in Egypt, but by the rise of Nazism in Germany, and prior to 1951 all of its campaigns were directed, not against Western colonialism, but against the Jews.
It was the Muslim Brotherhood, founded in Cairo in 1928, that established Islamic Jihad as a mass movement. The significance of the Muslim Brotherhood to Islamic Fascism is comparable to the significance of the Bolshevik Party to Communism: it was, and it remains to this day, the ideological reference point and the organizational core for all later Islamist groups, including Al Queda and Hamas.
