Sarah Palin

in 2012

An Internet poll sponsored

by Newsmax.com reveals

that nearly 4 out of 5

respondents would support

Sarah Palin as the

Republican nominee for

president in 2012.


A slightly larger majority

believe the then-Alaska

governor helped John McCain

in the 2008 presidential race —

while only 31 percent think

McCain did a good job running

for president.


The poll drew more than

600,000 responses,

and Newsmax will provide

the results to major media

and share them with radio

talk-show hosts

across the country.

Favorable: 83 percent

Unfavorable: 17 percent

  1. Sarah Palin would be most effective on the media side of things in the next presidential election, sort of what Huckabee has done on Fox.

    She’s so young that she can wait for the next 4 or 5 elections if she cares to wait until her children are grown (I think her protective nature is why she resigned –
    also she has more influence, not to mention control, speaking and writing about her own opinions).

    Her future will be whatever she decides it to be, but it’s quite obvious that she totally freaks out the left, whatever she does.

    They try to villanize her and lie about her in every way, but it only highlights their total paranoia!

  2. The poll is a little skewed because its Newsmax. Nevertheless, I could be inclined to support her in 2012 under the right circumstances.
