To mark 100 years of music recording
in Nepal and 25 years of commercialization
of Nepali music through the establishment
of Music Nepal,
the Nepal Music Center (NMC) is hosting
a four-day international folk music festival
in Kathmandu from Nov. 5.
Some 150 artists from Norway, India,
Malawi, Nepal, Palestine and
South Africa took part in the festival.

We are the Russian Folk Music Ensemble from the US. We are promoting Russian and Ukrainian music, and have participated in numerous festivals including the International Festival in Taiwan in 2008. We would be very interested in learning more about the possibility to participate in the Nepal International Folk Music Festival.
