Lin Hao nine year old hero of China earthquake!

a pupil fron quake-hit area in southwest China’s Sichuan province, parade into the National Stadium at the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, Aug. 8, 2008.

.According to media reports, when the May 12 tremor struck, Lin Hao risked his life and suffered multiple injuries for rescuing his schoolmates from the collapsed buildings.
He was later awarded the title of
“Teenage Hero in Earthquake Rescue and Relief.”

I am a special education teacher and I was so inspired by Lin Hao’s story. The courage this little guy has is amazing and the idea that in his little mind he was “just doing his job.” He is amazing and I cannot wait to share this story with my students!

Wow! This is what a Hero is!!! It doesn’t matter what the age or race or gender might be — this Little Guy showed the world what a true Hero
should really be –he performed a heroic act that most of us could not
do.
