Marvel is planning a sequel to Iron Man.
It hopes to re-unite director Jon Favreau and star Robert Downey Jr for the movie, reports Variety.com.
Justin Theroux has been signed up to write the script.
He has starred in films including Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
Theroux has also penned the screenplay for the forthcoming Ben Stiller comedy Tropic Thunder.
The first Iron Man film has earned more than £282m at the worldwide box office since being released in May.
Iron Man 2 is expected to be released in April 2010.
