German archaeologists may have found alter that held The Ark Of The Covenant!
Ark Raiders On the Job in Ethiopia
A discovery in Ethiopia has added another twist to the legend of the lost ark of the covenant, the chest that holds the stone tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments, according to Exodus.
German archaeologists have unearthed a palace in Aksum dating from the 10th century B.C. — the era of the fabled queen of Sheba — containing an altar they say could have housed the ark.
Some believe that Sheba and Israel’s King Solomon had a son, who later moved the ark from the temple in Jerusalem to Ethiopia.
