A female driver landed herself in trouble with the law after applying lipstick behind the wheel.
The woman, in her 30s, was said to have had one hand on the wheel while looking in the rear-view mirror to apply her cosmetics.
She was pulled over by officers on Lees Road, Oldham, Greater Manchester, and issued with a £100 fine and three penalty points.
Insurers estimate that as many as 450,000 accidents a year are caused by women drivers being distracted while applying cosmetics.
The Manchester Evening News reports the woman was pulled over as part of an operation by Greater Manchester Police to crack down on distracted drivers.
