Rash Manly Intervention for ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ alcoholics
As a recovering alcoholic and former drunk,
I’m calling for an intervention of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
I quit drinking October 31st 1983 so I have some experience in the matter of alcoholism.
Having watched the New Jersey cast in action from their first episode, I’ve noticed the elephant in the room no one will dare address: constant use of alcohol.
Wine for every meal, drinking in the middle of the day, outrageous behavior and spouting mean things cry out PROBLEM DRINKERS!
Not all the cast are guilty, but regular viewers know who the heavy drinkers are.
Don’t give me the
“it’s only wine” excuse,
the human body sees alcohol as alcohol.
I only drank beer for decades so I could self-deny my alcoholism but I was a problem drinker just the same.
Most of the family problems on this show (and the other Housewives shows) could be cured if the problem drinkers would QUIT CONSUMING ALCOHOL.
I’m holding a 22MOON INTERVENTION with this story.
Been there, done that.
